- I decided to REMAKE my 6'7 Playshot and it's GOATED. The two main things I missed out on with my original build were Post Control & Strength. These two attributes (especially for big guards) open up a whole other aspect of 2K gameplay that can be extremely advantageous once you understand the mechanics. I show a full Rec gameplay and highlight multiple examples of how these attributes can be useful. (All sigs and jumpshot are at the end of the video)

You can't have that mentality in Solo REC "My guy can't guard me, i gotta keep going at them". That will always result in some guy throwing a fit because they're tired of watching you score.
As a PG you really gotta babysit your team and find a balance of scoring and passing and keeping everyone happy.
I know it's sad but true, you can have that mentality with a squad but not with randoms.
Nah, what I said was because I’m in mamba takeover I’m going to keep going at him. The shot I took was as good as an open shot - you can even see it said good shot selection. If someone is too low IQ to understand good ball and wants to catch an attitude over a good shot that misses thats unfortunate. I couldn’t care less to be frank. These guys lose every time they load up.

Dude, you are right about the passing. I made a heavy point pg with assisting the team in mind. I went with a 91 pass accuracy, and I will never make a build with less than 80 pass ever again unless it's strictly for 1v1 or something. It's nice having that in the bag and being able to turn your team up.
The banning system for quitting out needs to go, getting banned for others is madness

Strength is a really big deal this year. My 1st build was a 6'6 SG that can basically do it all on offense and decent defense, but because I didn't put Strength, he definitely loses out on a lot of badges, especially on defense.
Ended up making a 6'8 SF shortly after that was basically the same as my SG but I put 92 Strength and 84 Post Control, which was perfectly affordable after going from a 93 Ball Handle to an 85. Game changer for sure
love the way you adapt to the game in front of you. we definitely need to get some runs.
College football and madden 25 look promising I got high hopes for 2K25 especially if they kill the flukey shit like 9:50 💯

My first build is actually my best one fits my play style perfectly. My 1 yr old deleted I started losing so much so I hit up 2k support they gave it back and I got right back to my winning ways.
I like this build especially with me being veteran 3 tht plus 2 towards my shooting nd defense makes the build even more deadly wen it comes to shooting
I felt that pass acc statement, was running 75-77 all year and decided to make a 98 just to experience it, and its a whole new game

Dime you’d love my 6’6… 85 driv lay; 93 mid; 85 3ball; 89 pass acc; 92 bh; 83 swb; 91 steal; 86 speed; 83 acceleration; 84 strength… the defense is up to you tho 85 steal and putting some vert and the block up for chase downs is an option as well
You can do good with 77 pass acc but it doesn’t compare to 91+ I got 96 for hof dimer and it’s not necessary but it’s convenient, but for a pg it’s a 91 minimum pass acc

This was my first year playing 2k and I love rec (I play current gen) but the people who don’t finish the breaks and the people who don’t get back on d really piss me off. Great vid tho
I'm pass first point, 2 way diming inside out scorer. All 3 same builds with minor adjustments in steals and finishing. All builds maxed out at purple. I live and die with my team shooting performance. Im an elite shooter over 73% but a poor to medium level shot creator. I usually don't get my first shots until like the 3rd quarter. The thing with me being pass first and elite shooter is i usually can't miss more than 2 or 3 of my attempts or we're losing. Even though my teammates are getting wide open looks. But this playstyle wins me more games than lose though. If i have elite shooters on my team we're more than likely blowing that team out. Thing is since i made a big it's hard trying to find a pg with my same pgs playstyle. They keep looking for their shot, shooting 36% from 3, can't defend and can't read the match ups on the floor.

@@deezosaintloyal 87 layup, you don't need hof float game and it doesn't unlock any extra animations. that should be enough for 36 dunk and 73 standing. If not, drop ball handle to 90
@mgl2708 91 ball handle is gold handle for days 88 layup unlocks like 2 layup packages and he is 6'7 so standing dunk is not as cheap as on a 6'6 guard or lower

85 vs 91 is a big difference mechanically, and 91 gets me Gold Handles for days and more sigs (like D Fox escape which I use a lot)

Idk how you still have it in you to play this nonsense the whole game cycle. To be COMPLETELY honest, there’s nothing about 2K24 that would make me dislike it enough to stop playing it. The real issue is the community, this is one game that would absolutely benefit from SBMM, I would rather play with sweats against sweats than sit with a team of bums against a mid-bum team. If I’m a 99 overall purple, why am I getting 94 overall black plates? They sure play like it too.
