I loved the Premonition at Withers Farm - was definitely very thought-provoking and I so appreciated the deep conversations between Perliett and George.

I love your transparency as a Christian in your reviews! I would definitely like to read Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde next fall. I’m so glad your daughter loved Dracula, I read it in high school but would love to revisit it because I’ve forgotten it! 😄

I always forget Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Jekyll And Hyde as I always know him for Treasure Island (which funnily enough I haven't read but have seen a couple versions of films)!! I wanted to read it this year but it is packed away. I loved Dracula and reading the prequel Dracul was just amazing. I love the monster hunter type of stuff (not inc Frankenstein as obvs the Monster is the victim) and it really sounded like I was reading Bram Stoker and not his great grandnephew, the voice of the narrator (not audibly just the way it is written) made me feel like I was actually reading the original Dracula!

I was Team Jacob until I reread the twilight series recently, and then I turned Team Edward. 😂 I still need to read Midnight Sun!
Joy in Christ’s Presence is amazing!

I enjoyed Specters In the Glass House too😊. I was also hesitant about The Premonition At Withers Farms and I think Jaime did a good job with it though.

OH I didn't realise Ponti had a new series. I bet my son would like that one. I'll have to check them out of the library for him. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is on my eventual TBR - I just need to actually read it. I didn't realize it was so short! I really want to get my older son to read Dracula. I think he would really like it. I'm super intrigued now by both those JJW books - I haven't read either one yet, but I've heard some things about Specters in particular that really intrigue me and make me interested in it.

I read The Woman in White for the first time in October, and I agree that some descriptions would have been best left out. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the story! Midnight Sun definitely boosted my low opinion of Edward😂. I hope to get around to The Joy in Christ’s Presence in the new year.

EEEP! I need to find the Twilight collection. David Jack has done a good job with getting MacDonald in front of new eyeballs.
Need to grab Joy in Christ's Presence
Premonition is one I've been aching to get to, and I think you convinced me to grab it next.

I have midnight sun on my tbr. I kind of didn’t like Edward much eirher. Especially when he disabled her truck in eclipse! And she doesn’t even snitch on him to Charlie! She lets him get away with it! I always wonder what Edward would have done if she had told on him. It would look suspicious if he didn’t fix it.
