Nice work, but hate seeing screws…. Why not dowels all around?
You never see the screws MORON

I agree after going to all that effort would have been nice to see dowels being used. I’m old school when it comes to stuff like that.
Awesome book that gives you step-by-step photos ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt and directions to make every day project. I can see myself making a few of these projects and giving them as housewarming and holiday gifts!

Am I the only one thinking these joints are overly complicated and much simpler jointing methods are just as strong?
Yes you are ASSWIPE. JEEZ

wow great ieda thankyu bhai great information 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
Why though? This is all completely unnecessary. Lets take a mitered bridal joint and use dowels rather than wood glue to hold it together.
Thank you
Mantap & rapih,,,🙏👍❤️

@@daveklein2826 What a strange chap you are, critiquing the poor workmanship in no way relies on the premise that you need to have or have not made a video. Maybe it's just your personal lack of any skills that it is why you make such an aggressive child like comment. Sounds to me like you were describing your own sad life, don't bother toreply because I shall not give it the time of day.

Did anyone else notice the bit on that Phillips jumping around more than Richard Simmons
The spline in the first example is pointless with its grain running the same direction as the boards it joins.
It helps keep the mating boards in alignment. Dominos or dowels would work also
@@glennryzebol4472 He means, running the grain in same direction can cause the spline to split along the joint.. the spline grain should run in the perpendicular direction so it's much stronger.
It's been done like this for hundreds of years.
@@oldmanfromscenetwentyfour8164 No, gluing panels doesn't need anything but 2 flat edges and that's how it's been done for hundreds, if not a thousand years. These kind of things have come along because power tools and marketing have made people think they need it.
@@cchavezjr7 Why you telling me?
Tried to watch, but the music was too distracting.
I like how you use a Phillips driver as a countersink bit, smart!
Or how others call it "How to ruin your bits in no time"...
Wah... keren bangat.

If both surfaces need to be exposed, this is a semi-poor joinery method. If one surface is concealable, metal plates and screws are tens of thousands of times more rigid, stronger and cannot expand and contract as wood DOES. Wood joinery was the only method possible say two hundred years ago. Modern adhesives and metal construction plates have made wood joints as obsolete as a halberd vs: a semi-automatic rifle. The shown joinery with PLYWOOD as the spline would be ten or twenty times stronger and an epoxy adhesive would prevent moisture movement. Do you wanna show-off your joinery or make something strong and durable???
How to make martial arts wooden dummy 's leg
El 1 ejemplo no sirve, la veta de la lengüeta no puede ir en el mismo sentido que el de la pieza.. se parte la lengüeta, debe ser de madera multilaminada o con la veta atravezada.. buen video.
Glue is stronger than the wood..that third joint was just a waste of screws. I could see it being useful on the end grain joint (the second joint you made). This is just a clickbait "tips" video though with a lot of useless methods.
*If you make boats in this way, then there will be much less leakage and you won't have to worry about sinking.*
If you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce, they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does.

Buenisima, gracias por compartir
EXCELLENT
hasilnya sangat maksimal 👍
Why bother with nice wood joints if you’re just going to screw things together? A nice joint, glue and clamps. That’s all you need. Done.
Or you could save all those steps and use a piece of the the right size… 🤷♂️

Better to use iron (steel) and welding

This is a weird channel. In all these joinery compilations there is some display of very solid and stable connections with skillfull execution through machines and hand tools. But also super crappy fake "5-minute-crafts" stuff that is clearly only made for the 5 seconds screen time.
I think he just putting content out, quantity and quality all together
Why are you using plasterboard screws tho and not wood screws?
Because for the application they are PERFECT DICK HEAD AND cheap
@@daveklein2826 I take it by your reply that you aren’t very educated as well. It was a simple question and for you to come back with that answer just goes to show what kind of man you are.
Yeahhh impressive exposed screw joinery 🙄
1. Grain runs alongside the spine. You can just snap that.
2. End grain glue-up...
No, it will be quite strong. Typically, you don`t need the spline at all for an edge-to-edge glue up but it is helpful for alignment and the spline adds additional glue surface to mate the pieces and will add strength. It`s a good joint. The second one is hot useless trash. I agree with you there

Todas las uniones son validas, menos dejar tornillos escondidos
