Jimmy Page (guitar, producer) assembled this group to cover his "Yardbirds" show contracts. One thing to keep in mind as you take this journey of reacting to music is that you are doing this out of chronological order - like most other music reactors - you listen to an artist from one decade... then another...then another...and so on. So in your mind - you have a mishmash of music / artists. But in reality, the music evolved over time. In a progression. One of the challenges of music reactions is to re-order the music in your own mind. If you listen to Eminem from the early 2000s and then some pop singer from the 80's and then Zeppelin from the early '70s - you might fall into the trap of comparing the artists to each other. You have all of these pieces of music floating around in your mind. You have to create your own mental structure, so that you are seeing the art as it actually evolved. So for instance, if you have already listened to Metallica, then Zeppelin might feel more "timid" by comparison - but in the late '60s and early '70s - when Metallica were still infants - we were just coming through the folksy music of the hippie generation and into the "let's come together" vibe of the early 70's. So when Zeppelin hit - it was like thunder. Almost nobody was making music like this. The guitar riffs and hard drums ushered in a new era of hard rock - all the while pop and disco was fermenting in the dance clubs of the masses. That's why Zeppelin is more loved today than ever - because we all have the benefit of hindsight - and we can see where seismic changes first began. Anyway - just my 2 cents - and i'm enjoying your platform and thanks for posting this one.
Ok. You should not have stopped it in that midsection jam. It's about a whole lot of love going on there. Also, I stared straight at her face the whole time she was watching this. Her micro expressions are absolutely priceless! I guarantee she had a whole different experience of this song than you did LOL! I love it!! 😂❤😮😊
Great reaction. Just to let you know, Jimmy Page the guitarist in led Zeppelin is considered one of the all time greatest rock guitarists in every poll. He created some of the most iconic guitar riffs in rock history. He also has some great riffs on the acoustic guitar which you can hear on some of their softer songs. Led Zeppelin not only have a lot great songs, they are fantastic live performers. They have amazing stage presence. Therefore it would be great if you reacted to their live performances too. Since I've Been Loving You live Madison Square Garden 1973. Kashmir live at Knebworth 1979.
The drummer John Bonham, used to live just down the road from me, he grew up in my town and went to the same school as i did. We even have a tribute statue to him in the middle of the town square.
The "freak out" part of song was played in part with a Theramin. It is an instrument that you never actually place your hands on to make a sound. It is the instrument that makes the weird, eerie sounds in old horror movies. It's not hard to figure out what the song is about. It must have blown the minds of people hearing it in the late 60s, especially parents.
This is from their 2nd album.. Their 1st album is GREATness, and eveything on it is worth hearing . Thanks for reacting to Led Zeppelin we'd like to see you do many more 🌺
Yah, 11 years old in '69, lying in bed on a school night in southeastern North Dakota, with my clock radio tuned to WLS am radio out of Chicago, and this comes screaming out of the tinny little clock radio speaker. It was simply captivating. Then, I had the good fortune of hearing it again for the "first time," when my buddy played his brother's Led Zep album with this song for me on a real stereo system, and I could hear all the depth of sound that had been lost inside my clock radio when I'd heard it in my bedroom.
WLS was where I first heard it too. I had already bought their first album the first time I saw it in a store. I did some top tier begging for Mom to give me the money. I love her. But I made sure I had money when I went to the store from then on.
Just for the record....back door man doesn’t mean anal sex! It means the guy going out the back, while the husband comes in the front! Drake can’t shine the shoes of Zeppelin. Dude live 1973 MSG. THIS SONG JUST SKIMMED THE SURFACE! This is the band that everyone tried to be that came after them. You have to do them more! Live is even better!
My favorite Led Zep song is KASHMIR. I also love FOOL IN THE RAIN and I think you might recognize THE IMMIGRANT SONG. Lotsa iconic songs from this talented ground moving group.
I love your reaction, and the fact that you respond to people's comments. I was fortunate to see Led Zeppelin. It was the Best concert I've ever seen. Keep up the Great content!
This song was on their second album, an album by the way that was written while they were on the road, bits and pieces recorded in whatever and whenever they could get in a studio. Whole Lotta Love was their signature song in their live shows until Stairway To Heaven and Kasmir came along. I saw them in 1977 on their last U.S tour at the Kingdom in Seattle. Just incredible, and I still have the tee-shirt. Keep going with their catalog guys. They defined a generation, in a time when the anthem was sex, drugs and rock n' roll.
I was 12 years old when my older brother brought home Led Zeppelin album. I fell in love with it, him not so much but six years later, I would end up seeing Led Zeppelin live in 1975 and again in 1977 at the fabulous forum in Los Angeles couple of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll nights of my life. Watch “Stairway to Heaven” live at Madison Square Garden in 1975. That’s the same show I saw in Los Angeles. I really enjoy you guys work. Keep up the great work.

Jimmy Page is an amazing guitar player. I was so influenced by rock. My parents bought me an electric guitar on my 15th birthday. They are legendary. There’s no other like them. Same here! I'm 26 and mostly grew up on 70s and 80s rock due to my mom (who surprisingly is really into Latin American and Spanish pop ballads of the time, her older sister was the family rocker 🤣) but Led Zeppelin definitely holds a very special place in my heart! Hi B&B., So much to say to Newbies, including a woman carrying a placard the has 'Led Zepplin" on it, how in the "H" does anyone go to a Led Zeppelin concert with an 'e' missing in their name?? They did a tour in 1973, filmed it at the Madison Square Garden Show, put it on VHS tape plus showed it movie theaters (which is where I 1st. saw it); they call it "The Song Remains The Same".. They added extra interesting video to it.. It is credited as one of the 1st. if not the 1st. Music Videos.. The song "Stairway To Heaven" is the best Rock Song performed by the best Rock Band, even though I would put it in a Rock/ Blues Genre.. Oh, when Mr. Robert said 'I want to be your backdoor man' he is saying when the main man goes out the front door to work, I want to come in the backdoor of the house.. All songs are great; checkout "Since I have been Loving You" & "Stairway To Heaven" .. ♠W.G.
Try since I’ve been loving you off of their Led Zeppelin 3 album or live from Madison square garden 1973. It’s amazing. Nice reaction. I just subscribed. You guys are alright ❤
I always find it interesting when someone says that a particular band is the best or greatest band ever. To me that's like saying bananas are the greatest fruit ever or blue is the best color ever. At the end of the day it's all a matter of opinion. That being I do believe that Led Zeppelin is without a doubt among the greatest bands of all time
"I Can't Quit You, Baby," "How Many More Times," "Rock and Roll," "When the Levee Breaks," and so many more. For their heaviest try their first 4 albums.
@ Bars & Barbells… Great Reaction, LZ was a very versatile band, masterfully playing Progressive/Experimental Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, and even Folk ( sometimes many genres within the same song)….I saw you crack a bit of a grin, when RP sang the lyrics, “I wanna be your back door man”… The phrase had a much different meaning back in the 70’s. His girlfriend’s husband leaves the house out the front door, and when the coast is clear, he’ll come in through the back door to “meet up”… If you really want to hear a Great LZ hard Blues driven Rock song, IMHO, you should definitely check out a little known LZ gem, entitled, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”, off their 1976 studio album, “Presence” …The song includes an outstanding Robert Plant Harmonica solo….Good Luck Jjh
Since I've Been loving you live at MSG has the greatest guitar work, I have ever seen captures true nature of the band If you are going react to Led Zeppelin this song is a must. The greatest band since Elvis he Was their Idol They were sitting in the front row his daughter recognized them his concert. He knew his daughter was a big fan of them, and also told they were big fans of his. He invited. them Back to his motel Thay talked for hours the blues. All rock was born from the blues. by the end of the night Robert and Elvis were singing together. They both said he was the most humble, man ever. Guess that is why they called him the King
It doesn't matter how many times you hear it... really... just mind blowing.

Pretty good 2 cents -
Great song! I saw them in '73. '75, & '77 at MSG!
Jimmy was also one of the most influential guitarists ever, but also the most innovative. Every guitarist since has followed his lead.
The best way to meet Led Zeppelin is to start with Album 1, track 1 & go forward. All songs are different & not a bad one to be heard!
The drummer John Bonham, used to live just down the road from me, he grew up in my town and went to the same school as i did. We even have a tribute statue to him in the middle of the town square.
No one will ever replace LED Zeppelin
You really need to experience some live Led Zeppelin to see what they are really capable of. Greatest live band in history!
Thanks for reacting to Led Zeppelin we'd like to see you do many more 🌺
We will!
@@barsandbarbells2022 Every album of Led.Zep. is very good. Respect.
😂 I was just scrolling through the comments to see if anyone had already said it. I’m always happy when someone beats me to it 😂
But in theory that means he could have actually been the back door man .....twice. 🤔 🤔
@@MarioCrosby 😳🤣🤣🤣
Zeppelin our pioneers they are friggin incredible you have to go on the ride❤
My favorite Led Zep song is KASHMIR. I also love FOOL IN THE RAIN and I think you might recognize THE IMMIGRANT SONG. Lotsa iconic songs from this talented ground moving group.
Love Led Zepplin
That song and a good set of headphones will blow your mind.
No its a LEGENDARY guitarist! One of the greatest ever!
My first concert 1973 Zeppelin Tampa Fl.
Popular is an understatement
I love your reaction, and the fact that you respond to people's comments. I was fortunate to see Led Zeppelin. It was the Best concert I've ever seen. Keep up the Great content!
Nothing compares to seeing them live in concert. The power and energy was phenomenal.
Zepplin is the GOAT! I discovered them at age 15 in 1979. How you could be the age you are & not know Zepplin is outrageous.
Highly recommend their song…WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS…..my favourite, yet i think they are best ever band.
I’m saying it again! First album, first song! First album, second song! Rinse and repeat! Am I right?!?
You are right!!!! :-)
I love watching Led Zeppelin virgins react to the music. Buckle up… this is a deep and wide rabbit hole!
Robert plant ( lead singer of Led Zeppelin) has solo songs also. Ship of Fools after drummer passed away. Beautiful Voice.
My God its remembering me back to my High School time its my no 1 hard rock Group band, together with other band such as Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad, CCR, Chicago, Jethro Tull, YES etc. oh what a nice memory.
Awesome People + Awesome content = Dynamite! No wonder you guys blew up quick!! lol 😜😊
Thank you!
Back door man refers to being a lover that has to escape out the back door when the man of the house comes home.
Play led zeppelin dazed and confuesd and you shook me!!!
Zep ..true artist at work the great thing about be born in 60's
The riff that changed the world
Me being from Cuban parents it was funny I didn’t care for the Spanish music. I am 50 years old and was exposed to rock and grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. They are amazing. Jimmy Page is an amazing guitar player. I was so influenced by rock. My parents bought me an electric guitar on my 15th birthday. They are legendary. There’s no other like them. You should listen to Stairway to heaven.
Same here! I'm 26 and mostly grew up on 70s and 80s rock due to my mom (who surprisingly is really into Latin American and Spanish pop ballads of the time, her older sister was the family rocker 🤣) but Led Zeppelin definitely holds a very special place in my heart! It's my turn to be the family rocker older cousin/auntie 🤣🤣 big greetings from Mexico!
I grew up listening this marvelous band! Very famous amongst Venezuelan teenagers, in fact I turned out to be the "rockera" of the family, being Led my fav band ever. Greetings from 🇻🇪
Omg..you have never heard of LZ. You will be amazed...
Hi B&B., So much to say to Newbies, including a woman carrying a placard the has 'Led Zepplin" on it, how in the "H" does anyone go to a Led Zeppelin
concert with an 'e' missing in their name?? They did a tour in 1973, filmed it at the Madison Square Garden Show, put it on VHS tape plus showed it
movie theaters (which is where I 1st. saw it); they call it "The Song Remains The Same".. They added extra interesting video to it.. It is credited as one
of the 1st. if not the 1st. Music Videos.. The song "Stairway To Heaven" is the best Rock Song performed by the best Rock Band, even though I would
put it in a Rock/ Blues Genre.. Oh, when Mr. Robert said 'I want to be your backdoor man' he is saying when the main man goes out the front door to
work, I want to come in the backdoor of the house.. All songs are great; checkout "Since I have been Loving You" & "Stairway To Heaven" .. ♠W.G.
5 beers and a joint and a half into a raging house-party and this comes on at ear-splitting volume. Rock 'n Roll Valhalla.
Since I been living you, Madison Square Garden live 73. 1 of the best live performances ever!!
You need to explore Zepplin much deeper. They have an incredible body of authentic, original and variable music.
weird to see someone who hasn't heard this band, i've been enjoying them for over 50 years.
Led Zeppelin is a deep rabbit hole to fall into. Try Black Dog for another great song
It amazes me how many of the top groups ever, you have never heard of or heard their music. How old are you guys? Thanks for the content.
We're both in our 30's
Guitar Jimmy Page in top ten rock guitist, John Bonham top rock drumer. Stairway to Heaven live version Page has a great solo.
Robert Plant was the best frontman ever, and is still ricking to this day.
I grew up with Led Zeppelin...(Jethro Tull...Queen)...Never knew they were a British band...wow...we are never to old to learn...
Zeppelin changes all threw every song.
would love to see you guys reacting to Since ive been loving you. Love the analysis. Subscribing for that keep it up
Thanks for coming along & for the feedback! 🙏
ZEPPELIN….GOAT….since 1968 doing it like nobody before & nobody after!!!! I first heard Zeppelin in 69 & I’ve been listening ever since.
