@@godfreyappliance5585 it’s too hard to compete against Amazon and harbor freight nowadays most people don’t wanna spend 200$ on an item vs 50$ for essentially the same thing. Even if it is better quality it’s not worth that price difference. In actuality it’s snap one fault for not having more reasonable prices
@@godfreyappliance5585 I mean snap on is corporate as well. I get it’s USA Made but unless your rich buying all USA made is not possible at least not with snap on
My company is about to move to a new location. We don't have a snap on guy now, but we will. This is my first buy, when he comes around. A wireless test light. Hell yes!
Thanks for Snap On Friday, liked seeing the assortment of test lights! Did Hamilton mention Snap On IT being restored? Still waiting to hear from my rep if he was able to place my order .
Man that cordless test light looks like it would be perfect for control work. Some of our safety proxes and e stops cycle between on an off too fast for a meter to pick up
It was a beautiful 75° sunny day. Here in middle Tennessee we are expecting 2-4 inches of snow over night, wth. I need that orange test light. Well in middle Tennessee I just measured on the truck and we got 4" of snow.
i have had that cordless test light for a few months now and it burned me once on a fuse..The fuse was bad and it actually tested voltage on both sides.its a quick a dirty good test light but you still have to do your do diligence.
After 2 month of waiting for the CT861 mine finally came in this week…used it a couple of times already and I do feel that it is stronger then the CT761…hopefully Hamilton should get some in next week or the week after
Sir is there such a procedure that whereas a test light will reveal or perform an outcome that a multimeter cannot (do I really need a test light in my Arsenal or can I diagnose any problem with multimeter 🤔
Guessing you haven’t ever tested a wire and seen it carries voltage on a multimeter or a digital test light but won’t carry the amperage and the regular old fashioned test light will show that. Then you trace it down to find a spot where it has been mashed and only a few strands inside are still connected.
Gonna miss Hamilton. Snap On Friday was the reason to subscribe. Bought my first Snap on tool listening to Hamilton. Sad he is gone
Yeah where did he go
@@houstonjohnston4403 He gave it up. Quit. Like a lot of others tool truck guys

Missing Snap On Fridays
Was hoping to hear about the snap on site being down all of last weekend... ransom?
I think it was an upgrade
Hacked
I thought they got a lot orders in & it crashed the system. My Snap-on guy said they probably got hacked though.
My slide top Snap-on cart finally came in to replace the one that was freight damaged and...
I also did a thing I traded my Solus Edge
for a Zeus
I think those big battery clamps for the test lights are called alligator clips.
Hello, I am from Peru, where can I repair my test light that does not turn on the positive red led?
Anyone know the part number for the larger test light clamp?
Snap on makes some awesome test lights I have three

Same issue here. Used to be my go to until that day. Now it just sits in my box.
There are some that use the test light on a wrong circuit and can smoke computers up too.I know a guy that has that wireless test light and loves his.

How's it do against a Milwaukee m12 w a 6.0 battery? Asking for a friend. Serious question.
