This new setup RIPS!!! I cannot wait to get it in the air and put some time on it. Stay tuned as that will probably be the next video. In addition to test flying the motor, what questions would you guys want to see answered in that video?
Tucker: Pops bubble wrap in New Jersey "neighbors probably think they hear gunshots" Me: lives in Missouri and can just go shooting in my front yard and shoot binary explosives... lol
Just a note on the shoulder mounted reserve connection. Another bonus is that when you come down you're no longer in the seat that's built when the carabiners are pulled. Instead, you're out of the seat and ready to PLF.
I’d be curious how many people (outside airborne) who know how to PLF... Heck, most cant do a proper PLF with 800ft AGL of preparation.... Its a pretty motor though!
Good point on the reserve bridal - I just purchased my first paramotor (2nd hand) and the reserve was routed behind the swing arm. The last thing I want to do after thoroughly crapping my pants in the air is have the land on my side coming down! Thanks for pointing that out - I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it.
Thank you so much Tucker for what you do for this community everyone I talk to say they got into the sport from you keep up the good work. Tucker is the only One to interact with his community thank you for the ❤️
I do like how Parajet’s harness integrates a side mount reserve neatly. I moved my reserve from front to side expecting it to be temporary for a competition last year but it’s quite nice having it out of the way. The only thing I miss is having the Velcro patch to stick a phone to. Nice build 👍
I am so excited to fly one of these. I'm currently too heavy to feel comfortable flying one, but I'm working out and eating right now, and hopefully, in the next year I'll be in the air!
Best wishes for great success. I’m 64 and have lost the weight but I wonder if my knees are to new roles as landing gear. I keep thinking that a FAR 103-compliant trike will be my path forward. Keep the faith and you will end up in the air!
Another reason for lefthand throttle (with a righthand torque engine) is that on launch if you need a hand to adjust your seat, you can use your right hand and keep your left hand on the left brake should you need to counter torque. ;)
Yoooo, I have been WAITING for content like this!! The mechanic side of paramotoring seems super interesting, you should do more videos about pre-flight, post-flight, and engine care! Maybe something to serve as a basic introduction to motor maintenance?
I have to thank you for the great videos and the tremendous inspiration they represent!! I’m 64 so I wonder if my knees are to new roles as landing gear. I keep thinking that a FAR 103-compliant trike will be my path forward. I admire the work of your editing and the joy of your flying!!
regarding the throttle thing, it might help people to think of it like this. Most people are right handed, and yet, right-handed string musicians fret/finger with their left hand. So to me it seems completely normal to use the throttle with the left hand (as a right-handed person). I guess just a real world example of why it's not so unintuitive. And holy crap it pushed the trike back lol. Amazing.
From the beginning you always find ways to push me to spend mass amounts of money! I appreciate everything you do for the community, I would love to link up when I get up in the air after some training from the best 👌
Got to rig up a CVT Clutch on the motor.. like on a snowmobile.. might be able to increase speed by another 20mph... throw on a turbo or small supercharger & adding a short light adjustable carbon wing under the seat will also add some lift... & extra speed...
Consider checking the carburetor for gunk prior to running it. I had a snowmobile end up running very lean and burning a hole in a piston as a result of gunk getting into the engine during non wintertime storage. The jet was partially clogged and I was simply broken down on the trail in the U.Peee. Having this happen in the sky wouldn't be so good.
@@gyongyossypeter4485 I've seen those, but the fit, finish, simplicity, and design of the maverick always catches my eye. The gravity motors are pretty sweet though
@@johnrutkowski9005 yes, I have to agree. They are beautiful with a great finish. I have a P2F RS Titan which is also great and a bit cheaper but I agree, the Parajet is another class ☺️👍

@@flyingmollywhop4228 Well, on a trike, I think there could be possibilities for shure! The price indeed isn't the cheapest, I've been working hard in between schooldays for over a year now, and maybe in a couple months, I will be able to afford some second hand gear or new gear.

when it comes to having your throttle in your non-dominant hand it really won't matter if use both your hands I use both my hands I'm right-handed for writing and for throwing overhand but if we're just about anything else I can use my left hand just as good as my right in fact I use my left more than my right when I drive I also use my left the hold my cell phone more than I use my right I believe

Hey man, I was wondering if you could do a video on explaining the different parts on a paramotor and in general how they work. Just started with paramotoring and I am completely new to engines and don't know much about the different parts and how the circuit works. Would also be interesting to know what maintenance you need to do on a regular basis :-) Greetings from Luxembourg :-)

Before installing the plastic ring around the gage lay it out in the sun to soften it & make it more pliable. Also works great when mounting tires.
