In this tutorial, I'll show you how to duplicate objects around a circle. To do this, we'll use one of my favorite features of Affinity Designer: Power Duplicate!
This is so much better than Inkscape and so much more affordable than Illustrator. I love this program. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad you liked the video. 😊
I havent even watched it but I know its gonna be great, thanks.

Thank you Tammy! 😊
Excellent tutorials I follow the same steps in AD iPad app. For the ones like my doing in on an iPad: you find the “Enable Transform Origin” button at the upper left corner, on the button of the arrow (Move menu: the fifth button starting at the top left corner)
Thank you for sharing that tip! 😊
YAY! Who would have known it were that easy to change a rotation point - thank you
Right? So easy! :)

Awesome tips as usual... I don't have Affinity Designer but I was surprise to see that I can do it with Affinity Photo. So far I have been only watching Affinity Photo tutorials... My question is: Will most Affinity Designer tutorials also work in Affinity Photo? Thanks you! 🙏
Good question. I'd say most things that are done in Designer can also be done in Photo, particularly for simple projects. As you get more advanced, Designer has specific tools for graphic design that Photo doesn't have.
@@AffinityRevolution Thank you for answering my question... You are the best! 🙌
Awesome !!! Merci - thank you so much 🙏
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked the video. 😊
Thanks. Excellent video. What if you want to revert to ordinary duplicate, not power duplicate after one transform?
Just click anywhere in the document to de-select the object, and then click on the object to select it again. Then you can duplicate without power duplicating. 🙂
@@AffinityRevolution Thanks. Or press Escape?
@@geoffphil Yup! That works too.
wow thank you so much
You're welcome! Glad you liked the video. 😊
Amazing
Thank you! 😊
Affinity FTW
hi, how would you do this along more oblong objects such as an oval?
By default, my is set to move 15° and not 5° like in the video. How to change it?
Nice tutorial! It kind of highlights how badly Designer needs an Array Tool...
Ya, that would be a great addition to Affinity!
It doesn’t work. It duplicates, but in the same position (without added rotation).
You need to select the original object, duplicate it, rotate the duplicate, and then duplicate it again, all without clicking off the object.
