It worked! Thanks! The key is to hold MUTE long enough on the soundbar for it to go into reset mode. Then do just as he says - hold the subwoofer button for about ten seconds, unplug both the soundbar and subwoofer, then plug back in. Blinking light now steady...playing through the sub!
Thank you, this solved my problem with my LG Soundbar SH7B from Costco. The LG instructions are nearly worthless, while your instructions and demo got it done. My model has some minor differences, like the LED on the subwoofer is on the back, but your instructions worked perfectly. One disconcerting LG UI thing is that the sound bar display shows "MUTE" right after it shows "WL Reset", instead of keeping the "Reset" message on. Even though the display just showed "Mute", when I powered sound bar and subwoofer back on, they paired up and started working again.

For the 2nd method if u dont have the remote use the mute on ur universal remote and the stop button on the bar its self took me a little bit to figure that out finally got mine to reconnect

I had the same issue but 3rd time was a charm for me. It does stay blinking for a bit after reconnecting at least it did for me, the other thing it did for me was all bass was to zero so it was hard to tell it had worked. Hope this helps
Just to add some extra info. I could not get it to work trying several times. The time it worked I did all the steps with the remote and not the buttons on the bar to put it at min volume and also I changed the batteries in my remote. Nothing seemed different before I turned it all off but once I turned it back on everything worked. TLDR. Only use the remote and replace batteries if you think they might be old and on their way out

The blinking green light changed to red and green. Disconnected both the subwoofer and the soundbar from their power supply and reconnected. That’s it, they were paired!
