- holy moly, i cant believe i got this run!, 1:23 has been my goal and what i ended up here is a sub 1:23:30?! unreal, RNG was abit rough in a few places with butterflies but i got all 1 frame tricks (pig bags and mouse skip) ultimately such a clean run, god run would be a high 1:22 i'd say, but man oh man, i'm so stoked about this!
For now i'm probably putting down the category, havent completely decided, but while i think about it, i'm going back to any% runs to try and cut a few more seconds in that

I was definitely doing leaf butterflies wrong, 20 minutes running around and sliding.
the sliding is fun tho
@yoosha9153 except for the fact the pigs respawn as soon as you move away, they always hit me if I slide.
I forgot all about this game existed, absolutely loved it when I was a kid lol. Really hard for me at those times but enjoyed it nevertheless

The menuing is honestly the part that blows my mind the most.
haha i appreciate that but its probably my biggest timeloss overall, the difference between a sub 1:23 and something i want to work on when i eventually return to the game

@@hrky8185 jump as much as possible or don't use analog (don't play special edition because analog is set to the dpad and cannot be changed at the moment)

Tomba is the best game on ps1 next to castlevania symphony of the night and toy story 2.
also even tho it had allot of bad game designs A bugs Life was pretty cool to ^^
@@SvenskSork I played the fuck out of the demo back on the day, when I bought the game later, I only liked playing the first level lol.

I have different preferences than you, we are not the same person, I don't have to live by your idea of which game is better than others, because I have the ability to like things on my own. I spent many hours on SotN and tomba growing up, never liked taz, and other than the great first level, a bugs life kinda sucks.

yeah, with the way the pigs work, they cannot spawn outside the camera's view, so running to a specific spot to manipulate the spawn is a great way to get the bosses done quickly
