Guys, we did it. I think NI is really listening right now. I'm not sure more requests have been granted in a single update, ever. Jam support, good lord. USB hubs, OMG. External hard drives, WTF. They are listening. Keep asking the right questions.
Also GUYS in case anybody is wondering.. I connected my steinberg ur816c interface to the maschine plus through usb and it worked just as well as the native instruments komplete audio 6 interface did, which is what I was using prior. It was literally plug and play right out of the box! Giving you 8 inputs and 8 outputs! Now I have my whole studio running into maschine plus on their own tracks/inputs. Hugeeeee!
same here with the focusrite scarlett 18i8 - even before the new patch :-) running my moog, my lyra-8, etc. into the maschine+ and use the internal effects on my hardware. love it
It’s so great. Finally I can play my guitar along with my keyboards and have all my midi and audio synced in one place (without a computer). Only took years of trial and error, but I believe this is the best setup for that kind of situation.
Are you saying i can connect my Behringer x32 up to my Maschine Plus for 32 inputs and it all works? This is insane. Im excited to get to my setup to try it
Update: the steinberg interface after being updated started to distort/crackle/pop the audio anytime I tried to record. It’s no longer working well with the maschine plus
I use the Maschine+ in my studio as a centerpiece to control all my external synths and other midi machines. Since i got the new update, i had not a single crash or freeze. Before the update it was a nightmare. I was constantly in panic to lose my progress within the project. Every single step I progressed was followed by pushing the save button. Now its just perfect and flawless for my workflow. Thank You NI.
Us MPC users like: "Really, you couldn't do that before?" Haha. But as a S61 owner, I've never wanted a Maschine more in my life. That high price looking more and more reasonable to me...

I don't understand why you guys stopped selling the Maschine Jam. I had to buy one pre-owned and it's an awesome combination with Maschine and/or KK, specially if you want to compete against Push. Jam was such a great product that you'll hardly find anyone pre-owned (most users keep them)
Very Nice! I don't think I will need all that integration, but I'm sure it's really nice for those who do. I'm always impressed by how Native Instruments constantly improve their device's firmware. Too bad I'm no longer a Maschine user.
@@NativeInstruments With S49, I have got transport, mute, solo etc working with Maschine plus in standalone, but the keyboard does not play notes? What am I doing wrong thanks?
just sell the current owners an expansion dock that has a battery, subwoofer, and 4 speakers. They could put an output expansion like the Akai did BITD for 8-16 analog outputs. They could make a lot of money doing that and it would be a quick addition to current gear that would need very minimal engineering. They could make it supplement and compliment the processing power of the Maschine+ by bridging the bus power for the CPU and RAM lanes. They could even make a premium dock that would have a laptop hinged touch screen OLED display to be able to easily draw waveforms or edit EQ spectrums or draw automation etc. A real easy thing they could do would be to allow USB/bluetooth track pad connections or stylus that could interface with the 2 small screens. They don't need to develop a whole new deck, just make a modular enhancements work more regular software updates. I want MPE support! I want better Cubase integration! I want tighter exclusive Kontrol MK2 MK3 keyboard integration. They really need to do something, AKAI killing it, now PUSH, Elektron, etc. They need to update the software with easier composition tools too.
Updated, and it´s a great one, except i´ve had to reboot twice ,the tempo knob didn´t work anymore and adjusted the pitch instead. Hope this was just a fluke. Otherwise awesome.
Very cool. Thinking of a Mashine MK3... I am thinking of the Maschine + instead.. not sure which way I will jump.. Support for Jam is great. Any thoughts if the Jam will come back or a Jam 2.0?
So if I was to use the m32 keyboard on maschine plus standalone mode would I be able to access all features like scale and chord modes? If so I will definitely get me an m32
The technical concept is great. I have the bigger machine studio, which needs a PC and its ok for my situation. But, from the asthetical point of virew, the grey color looks cheap for my taste. BTw, I would reduce the gain at 250Hz a bit in the EQ
I'm new to Maschine...could I pull in completed Logic Pro sessions from my DAW into Maschine via an external hard drive and perform along with the session via a midi controller routed thru Maschine as well??

This is quite interesting that they would add functionality for a device they no longer make. Why did they stop making it anyway? There are not that many out there are they? I mean compared to MKs out there. How is NI support for used Jams bought 2nd hand. It sounded like if you already have one your good. Cause there support for other products like Studio and 2nd hand no license MACHINE is minimal. You can get a minimal Machine 2 package if you didn't get the software license with your used Machine or Studio. Never seen anything about the Jam at all. I didn't even know they made the thing, but I am new to the NI world.
