      I was surprised more apparatus didn’t use the powercall but I was very happy that the tower did!

    What is the different between when engine 1 gets dispatched and engine 1-1 gets dispatched and takes the run? Are they two different crews? Same crew rotating trucks?

    • @pizzaking500
      @pizzaking500 Год назад +1

      Paramedic Engine 1 is career staffed and Engine 1-1 is staffed by the volunteer duty crews.

      @@pizzaking500 thank you! Do all stations has a career staff and volunteer crew? Which ones don’t? Is it also like this for ems crews for example medic 1 and medic 1-1? One final question, how do they staff the rescue and ladder at station 1

    • @pizzaking500
      @pizzaking500 Год назад +1

      @@koywentz5032 Every station has career personnel besides Station 5. Station 5 is all volunteer. All of the ambulances are staffed with career personnel. I’ve seen the career crews at Station 1 and Station 4 cross staff the engines and towers. The volunteer duty crews also seem to be pretty common during the summer at headquarters staffing other rigs.

    • @pizzaking500
      @pizzaking500 Год назад +1

      They started running the Paramedic Engines recently too taking in medical calls. At least one firefighter on the career engine crews is a paramedic. Paramedic Engine 1 at Headquarters and Paramedic Engine 4 at Station 4.
