There's no chance they wrote both a CPU-optimized and non-CPU-optimized version, just to use one as a demo. That means they are literally burning CPU-cycles as an extra step in the demo, just to cripple your experience (and your overall system). Obviously, this is quite concerning, and should not be tolerated of software companies.

I agree 100%! I bought the preamp console bundle and after a few weeks I went for the api eq. I personally love the aeq mix saturation and use it through send/return channels just for the distortion. Works wonderful on vocals🔥
