Why Are Pokémon Games So Expensive

I added up the cost of all the Pokemon games to buy from CEX and the consoles you will need to play them and it will be cost you ALOT!
Do you think that Game Freak need to bring all the games to the Nintendo Switch Online service?

I had no idea Pokémon games became so expensive until a couple weeks ago when I went to my local game store to get a 3ds. I asked they had black & white 2 cause I never played them and he said ya we have them for $250 🇨🇦. I luckily I kept all of my old DS games so I don’t have to worry about paying absurd prices but B&W 2 is the only one I never bought.

Yeah they seemed to have jumped in price a lot over the last 12 months.

Dang. 80 pounds in Europe for a loose copy of Emerald. It averages $170 USD over here in the U.S. I had to buy my copy for $175 from a game store.

Unfortunately just because it’s coming from CEX there is no guarantee that the cartridge you are getting is legitimate

I was just using CEX as it's the easiest way to compare prices for all the games.
