    i would put a torch with you so when the lines come you can warm them up an put them back in much easier

      Not a bad idea, we have never had this problem before. This is a new blade, and we are looking at how to relocate them connecters. I think when you lift the blade up it is pushing them out and do to not using the blade much and it being so cold out the lines were stiff and that did not help, I may do a video on it when we change it. thank you for watching.

    Never rode those trails. I was more south by clair or the upper. I think it would be fun for a few hours after that it’s tough. Peace

    Who do you work for?
    How often do you have to groom that trail?

    • @adventureswithpat7359
      @adventureswithpat7359  17 дней назад

      I'm self-employed.
      We groom as needed if we have good snow, we go out Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and during the week as needed.

    If you shut your machine off you will be amazed how much easier it is to hook up hydraulic lines

      So, I did do that you can see the light turn off on the tractor and then back on. The couplers have presser releases on them as well not my first time dealing with something like that.

    Cant get them to do ahit with the trails in the summer time thiugh ..

      We are working towards doing something about that, it's just very complicated and takes time to set it up and get funding and permission to do that work and we are all volunteers so most of us are busy working as well, so we don't always have time to devote to doing that in the summer.
      We hope to do some grading this coming summer and we did do a number of big dirt work projects this last fall.

    Are ATVs or motorcycles allowed on those trails?

    • @adventureswithpat7359
      @adventureswithpat7359  17 дней назад

      Yes and No the way I was told if it's a seasonal road and maintained by the road commission you can be out there. I'd still contact your local DNR office and make sure first.
      THIS IS MY OPINON TAKE IT AS THAT
      I would say as a snowmobiler id ask that ppl to stay off the trails with their ATV and side by sides when we have good snow for snowmobiling.
      Thank you for the comment.

    Greg from northern Michigan (Atlanta) . Nice video. How many miles do you cover per day ? What's your average speed on the trails ? Do you use a GPS for navigation ?

    • @adventureswithpat7359
      @adventureswithpat7359  18 дней назад +1

      We have 3 tractors and cover 135 miles overall and its divided up into 10 different trails sections most of are trips are around 4hrs long and about 20miles I believe don't quote on that. This video we went a total of 66miles and that's round trip. I was running about 5 to 8 MPH. We don't have navigation in the tractors if I need GPS, I use Polaris ride command or the paper map, but I only need that for the trails I don't normal groom. Thank you for commenting if you have any other questions let me now.

    Do you carry a chainsaw with you in case trail is blocked?

    • @adventureswithpat7359
      @adventureswithpat7359  17 дней назад

      Yes, we do carry a chainsaw with us and some chains and straps. most of the time we try to just push it off the trail with the tractor thou.

    I have never seen anyone in my state (NH) or maine running a tractor with tires and chain everyone up here is using soucy tracks on the tractors. Dumb question do you think a 30 hp tractor would groomer better than a utv its something I was talking with a couple guys at the trail bureau workshop meeting

    • @adventureswithpat7359
      @adventureswithpat7359  19 дней назад

      Thats a hard question to answer. The UTV might be faster, but the tractor will have more torque to pull the drag and will last longer I'd say. I've never used anything but tractors.
      The tractor in this video is the smallest one we have a little over 100HP and we did have tracks on this one and one others one, but they wore out and we ended up going to tires and for us its ok do to use not getting the snow like we used to get :( .
      Hop that helps if you have other questions don't hesitate to reach out.
