This perfume is very interesting. It brings up different images and associations for me: - It smells like the ‘next day’ of charred wood, as if someone had been burning branches and leaves and then putting them out again. - It reminds me of the typical smell of a traditional English gentleman's country club, with old books, leather armchairs, a glass of whisky and a glowing cigar forgotten on a mahogany table, with an almost dying fire burning in the distance under a broken chimney. - It also reminds me of the smell of smoked spicy sausages or "chorizos" cooking water. I like smoky perfumes, so I like this one a lot too. The perfume starts off fresh and slightly citrusy. There's a subtle, warm, dark sweetness right from the start, which is immediately enveloped by a dark, spicy smoke. I don't notice the leather note much. The smoke remains and is the only thing present in the dry down, although softened by a slight vanilla. This perfume is addictive to me, perhaps because it lulls me. Well... bees are also calmed by smoke.
@@Fragrancé_Delicto I ve never tryed Hyde, for now at least. But thx to your description i could imagine it and I m pretty sure la haine, that I have, is pretty similar or it has similar vibes. I freaking love la haine! Another one that I love is Tonnerre, from BeauFort. I blinded buy it and it was my best blind buy ever! Finally I suggest you Stokksness from Almah and Nebbia Densa from Sorcinelli. Same vibes. Black. Tar. Birch tar. Love them
@@matteoperoni535 Thank you for your recommendations. My wish list is growing) I will gladly try these fragrances, if possible. And what do you think about artists, are you interested in considering fragrances through the prism of art?
@@Fragrancé_Delicto yes I consider perfumery as a sorte of Art. Not all the fragrancies are artistic, obv. The border of niche and artistic fragrance is very blurry... I personally prefer to search for the artistic side of it. Many artistic noses have their signature and a certain consistency of the smell. So yes, to me the artistic view is more interesting
Very nice review!
thank you, I hope the quality of the video and the material about the artists were also good)

Birch tar is my favourite too!!
If you love it then try La Haine, of Moth&Rabbit, you will be amazed
It would be great to find a small bottle. Do you think these scents are similar?
