- Taylor Swift's not just changing the music industry, but the movie industry as well with the Eras Tour Movie. In my opinion, the future of the entertainment industry is 100% going to be independent artists. And what Taylor did this year is definitely going to change how Hollywood functions in the future. After few years of absolute brainrot movies and music, Taylor is finally pushing this into the right direction. The only girlboss moment that I approve.

Evermore is her best album, folklore second, 1989 third. Going independent is one of the best decisions she ever made, otherwise folklore and evermore would likely not exist. I am excited for her to branch off into movies, I hope she nails it, but I am a little nervous because it is rare for great musical artists to do as well when they have film projects. I can't think of any, off hand that were great at both. Prince acted the movie Purple Rain, based the album, and supposedly it was prince who came up with the idea of making this movie and he wrote the plot outline which coincided with the lyrics of the songs on the album. The film did great and Prince won an Oscar for best original screen score, but that isn't the same thing Taylor is trying to do, turn an album into a movie or is she? But then Prince made "Under The Cherry Moon" and that won himself 5 golden raspberries. Good video btw
I think Taylor’s writing is very visual and would translate really well into a film. Prince is an interesting case. He’s definitely more of a singer/performer than a lyricist. So musicals are definitely his strongest suit. Taylor’s writing is more of like a greta gerwig movie if that makes sense. She certainly has that type of sincerity and honesty in her writing, while also sprinkled with a little humor if she wanted sometimes

Yes absolutely. And it’s even crazier when you realize the whole thing was produced during the actors writers strike. It really shows it goes a long way when you pay your workers right, huge win for both parties.
