I'm only 90 and from India. I had open-heart bypass surgery in 2014. I find this is good for me. About 2 months back I started. Initially, I was not regular, now trying to be regular -- 7 days a week -- sitting only now. I didn't consult any doctor before doing this. I feel better. Thank you a lot.

Love your exercise videos! I’m a stroke survivor who can’t move fast enough to get my activity in to lose weight. You can only cut so many calories a day to get your weight down! Exercise is the next step and I can only do seated exercises . The Nih says about 20 minutes a day seven days a week is the recommended amount of aerobic exercise needed to lose weight and maintain health. Thank you so much for having this perfect length video I do every morning now safely seated and with modifications I make myself!

I am 54 but I have degenerative disc disease. I have gained a lot of weight over the past year because I haven't even been able to walk for more than 5 minutes. Winner of a video, been searching for "basic calisthenics routine for men" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Jamescan Calisthenics Caboshed - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.
I have looked for many workouts but I loved the pace, the options and especially the encouragement that was so comforting. I was only going to do 10 min and finished the whole workout without it feeling like a chore. Excellent instructors - WAY TO GO!!

There are Silver Sneaker classes at YMCA's and other places. Some instructors teach at their churches and other places. They are designed strictly for seniors. Many offer workouts similar to these but you are in a group setting which offers the social aspect of it. Please consider this with your Mom along with these videos. They are great and you will get a good workout as well but with much safer exercises, the same as here.
Some of us senior citizens don't have access to the classes at the YMCA, etc or don't prefer to have that type of social interaction. As for me, this really meets my exercise needs and preferences and they encourage participants to go at their own pace, which is a safety factor. Sometimes organized classes can be intimidating to keep up with other folks.

Thanks for your video. This is my favorite. I'm 76 and need a routine that makes exercise more fun than I think it is. I do this 20-minute one, trying to standardize 3 times a week, and then another 20 minutes on the ellipical with an ipad. Will try another of yours for 20-minutes for variety, but can't seem to move away from this one video. Haven't tried a 30-minute one, pleased with the variety, but the 30-minute ones seem to present a mental obstacle I haven't yet hurdled. I like your narratives and style, Coach Cossack, and also find that of your sidekick Claudia entertaining. Good team, so both keepers.

I am 66 almost 67 and have been doing this work out for about a year. When I first started I could only do about half of workout. Now I can do whole thing. I feel much more limber. I am hoping this is keeping my sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol low. I enjoy how you coach us on with encouragement. I thank the both of you!
Just tried this for the first time, as I've been dealing with back and neck pain and have babied my body to avoid pain. The problem with that is range of motion diminishes and stiffness sets in to go along with the pain. I didn't realize how out of shape I was and thought this would be a breeze; but I found out I really, really need to start getting my body more flexible.

I hit my goal yesterday! I have been battling my weight issues for 41 years! I got on the scale yesterday and saw the number i have been waiting for and working to see for sooooo many years. I wish I could hug you guys! I am so proud of myself. I decided to take it down another 10lbs. Unfortunately, I need skin removal surgery, but the muscle definition is there. I cannot believe I Did It! With your help ofcourse.

I also want to add that I appreciate the safety your offer with these exercises. I'm sorry to say that many regular workouts really are risky for people that are just beginning to age. You don't realize until you get injured. These are indeed for all ages and especially people on the borderline of aging.

I have been doing these for awhile but then I went to the gym and stopped going, and doing nothing for 6 months , so glad these are still on here ,I am back doing these because I can get up and do these without getting dressed right away . Winner of a video, been searching for "basic calisthenics routine for men" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Jamescan Calisthenics Caboshed - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.

I have looked for many workouts but I loved the pace, the options and especially the encouragement that was so comforting. I was only going to do 10 min and finished the whole workout without it feeling like a chore. Excellent instructors - WAY TO GO!!

There are Silver Sneaker classes at YMCA's and other places. Some instructors teach at their churches and other places. They are designed strictly for seniors. Many offer workouts similar to these but you are in a group setting which offers the social aspect of it. Please consider this with your Mom along with these videos. They are great and you will get a good workout as well but with much safer exercises, the same as here.
Some of us senior citizens don't have access to the classes at the YMCA, etc or don't prefer to have that type of social interaction. As for me, this really meets my exercise needs and preferences and they encourage participants to go at their own pace, which is a safety factor. Sometimes organized classes can be intimidating to keep up with other folks.

Such a tremendous overall workout weight-bearing, cardio, and stretch for seniors or people who are getting back to exercise. I especially like that he allows time to switch exercises and explains exactly how you should positioned for each standing exercise.

Thanks for your video. This is my favorite. I'm 76 and need a routine that makes exercise more fun than I think it is. I do this 20-minute one, trying to standardize 3 times a week, and then another 20 minutes on the ellipical with an ipad. Will try another of yours for 20-minutes for variety, but can't seem to move away from this one video. Haven't tried a 30-minute one, pleased with the variety, but the 30-minute ones seem to present a mental obstacle I haven't yet hurdled. I like your narratives and style, Coach Cossack, and also find that of your sidekick Claudia entertaining. Good team, so both keepers.

I was looking for a gentle exercise routine to regain my fitness after a bout of corona and find these exercises a perfect way to restart my fitness journey. Thank you coach Kozak and Claudia.
I am 66 almost 67 and have been doing this work out for about a year. When I first started I could only do about half of workout. Now I can do whole thing. I feel much more limber. I am hoping this is keeping my sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol low. I enjoy how you coach us on with encouragement. I thank the both of you!
Just tried this for the first time, as I've been dealing with back and neck pain and have babied my body to avoid pain. The problem with that is range of motion diminishes and stiffness sets in to go along with the pain. I didn't realize how out of shape I was and thought this would be a breeze; but I found out I really, really need to start getting my body more flexible.

I hit my goal yesterday! I have been battling my weight issues for 41 years! I got on the scale yesterday and saw the number i have been waiting for and working to see for sooooo many years. I wish I could hug you guys! I am so proud of myself. I decided to take it down another 10lbs. Unfortunately, I need skin removal surgery, but the muscle definition is there. I cannot believe I Did It! With your help ofcourse.

This has become my daily workout since the stay-put from the Covid-19 virus. I enjoy the presentation and always feel stronger after the workout.

I also want to add that I appreciate the safety your offer with these exercises. I'm sorry to say that many regular workouts really are risky for people that are just beginning to age. You don't realize until you get injured. These are indeed for all ages and especially people on the borderline of aging.

I have been doing these for awhile but then I went to the gym and stopped going, and doing nothing for 6 months , so glad these are still on here ,I am back doing these because I can get up and do these without getting dressed right away . I'm 75 years old and I do all the standing exercises . Thank You for help keeping me in shape !
