I just watched this a million times and I am finally almost done. Couldn't have done it without this video seriously, most other ones don't explain in detail each step to beginners. If you can not be exact how many 50 gram skeins to you think will need to be used for each color? Should I get the same amount of yarn of each color?
i made about 21 granny squares ( cause i got carried away lol ) and i have mine on a green background where hers is cream and i used almost an entire thing of the I Love This Yarn skein. I think you might be able to get about 25-30 squares (or more depending) of the background color per skein. I think the blue would look gorgeous personally. :)

I didn’t keep track of the yarn grams. That’s one thing I always forget to do. It was about half of many of the skeins of yarns
