As i saw the strategy of the Signal hunter, he is using the 5 minute time frame to see when is the reversal of the Harsi indicator and then he switches to 1 minute time frame just to take the entry on 1:1 or 1:2 risk to reward ratio. ALSO , he is using entry rule : when the HARSI indicator touches the upper or down line but NOT when he is in the middle. SO there are some misconception. Thank you for backtesting the strategy.

Watched the video went and set it up, watched a few possible trades, back tested some then jumped in and 3 out of 3 so far.

so when we wait for the Harsi candles to reverse they can just be in the top 50% of the range not the top 20% is that correct ?
Many Thanks. A couple of comments. Spreads on the 1 minute timeframe invalidate the RR. A 1:1 is not a 1:1. Also backtesting should be done for the times you’d be on the charts, not all through the day and night. I would say that if you want a 1:1 after the spread has been taken out you should really be backtesting with at least 1.3-1.4R at a guess

so basically you are just looking for a reversal and a color change.
as the Harsi is either red or green and we are watching for a color change followed by a reversal and then a color change.
every time the color changes you are looking for a reversal and the color to change. so you are trading every time the color changes basically.

right now i trade SR rejections as well as some other rejections. Mostly trend trading. Lately i've been toying around with consolidation areas. Obviously my trend rules don't work so hot in that environment so it's a new batch of rules for sideways.

One important info you forgot about this strategy is that it only works when prices is in a range. You need to consider if the market you're using this is in a downtrend or uptrend

At 8:10 Why did you open a position there, and didn't open before? There were at least 6 signals to buy before, all would have been losers. How could it be 94%?

For me, it's just a framework for a system. It actually generates many false signals. I am since 1,5 weeks creating rules which will reduce the false signals and increase the profit many times. I every day testing and see what is more efficient. I am sure that with other factors together that is a very good way to generate a lot of money BUT you have to be careful. So in the raw you are currently losing money!

1:1 Doesn't mean it will be profitable in the long term. It's gotta be at least 1.5 or 2:1 to make it in the long run tbh. Please make Ichimoku tutorials for Higher time frames. Thanks!

It will if it's a high win rate. 2 to 1 only works if you're using a low win rate strategy.
Please don't give advice if you don't know what you are talking about. You will be profitable using 1:1 as long as your win rate is over 50%, not taking into account brokers fees.
If you want to gain more money, try to learn about trading. It's a great start for everybody who doubt

Incliding trading fees, does it really profitable? Using leverage with 1 to 1 rr is not profitable even it has 69% winrate.
Yup, if trade at binance futures with BUSD, that fee is 0.06% (if u take market taker only)
Exactly with trading fees you lose always. in theory this is good. also many indicators that repaint. I always use x50 leverage in futures and take arround 0,25% minimum. These are not realistic and bots are replying so you believe this. If you are a millionaire allready and have VIP LEVEL 9 you can do this. Beginners nope :p.

You kind of lost my confidence when you said the heiken ashi candle was an indicator. It is just a different type of candle.
Candles essentially are indicators too. Hence indicating the movement of price. Your lack of confidence is your own issue.

@@davidfabian5237 if you can maintain a 50% average winrate over a long period of time with 1:3 RR, you'll be doing very well for yourself.
on a 1:3 strategy, your winrate can be 26% or so and you will still be at breakeven levels, so
