SMC won't accept 1:2 R/R trades brother, but u are close to it just do more research. At least 1:5 is a good trade to be considered as a smart money, because u are moving 5 steps forward and 1 step behind. That's the concept!
U r predicting price and that alone can create more losses than wins. It is better to wait for confirmation than predicting it. It will build up ur confidence faster
Okay so it made a bms on the up side which was more of a raid …price rejection which forced the price down ..made several inside bms before it made a real bms choch …which then confirmed it was a down trend since it made a bms that created a order block on the downside ..& and fvg on the down side which …you waited the market to reach and then you entered for a sell…
That's why sometimes, price doesn't mitigate ur marked POI because it moves away in the opposite direction on entry a FVG. Price doesn't mitigate every order block, does it? It is normal when u miss out on some trades if price doesn't reach ur order block
This was a liquidity sweep ($$$) that broke the swing low and then hit the FVG. There’s a lot of trade opportunities like that especially on lower timeframes
Ok , I want to clarify this for all new trader. He is missing out on a very important information in this short. You must be asking , why that low break then become ChoCH. This guy forgot to show you that on the left side of the chart . this current peak that he is showing just broke a previous swing high. Hence that first low is valid to use at CHOCH.
So that bullish bos got negated by the bearish choch. Then after that choch you wait for price to go back to the fvg for entry in direction of the choch
In a case of an ob that has a FVG, how will i know which one to use? sometimes i uae ob it will tap into FVG and move away, when i use FVG it will pass throu the FVG taken me out and tap into OB

Para que ese bajo fuerte tuviera validez, tenia el precio que sacar la liquidez del alto, para barrer y ahí si caer e ir por el bajo fuerte, que es el inicio de rango alcista en esa temporalidad que me imagino debe ser de un minuto, una vez que barre y va por ese bajo, se crea el ChoCH de reversión que es lo que tú marcaste y una vez en ese ChoCh de reversión, marcas tú bloqué, incluyendo el FVG porque te había dejado liquides previa. Cuando el precio deja liquidez previa, la barre y luego entra al bloque, a veces como no la barre, es mejor poner la entrada desde la liquides dejada en el FVG y el Stop Loss hasta el alto estructurar si es reversión para una venta o el bajo estructural si es reversión para un compra. Listo, eso fue todo. No siempre te va a servir, si el bajo o el alto que rompe no es fuerte y si no barre la liquides previa antes de hacer su ChoCh, porque entonces no sería un ChoCH de reversión y te va a sacar en pérdidas. @@SolomonKingFinance the extreme candle which is to grab the liquidity should be our most concern. The colour of the candle doesn't matter. So in this chart the top green candle is grabbing the liquidity so that the green candle is a OB candle and also you can see the FVG there itself.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it takes you out because CHoCH is a simple liquidity grab. You need more confirmations.

To avoid getting taking you out wait counter trend choch or break for entry confirmation.
