If latency bothers you, then you better look elsewhere. As I a said in the review Air 4 are very much at their initial production period and at the moment don't work as well as they potentially could. Have you considered QCY T4 or Baseus buds?

It could be possible as these are cheap copies. The only thing I can suggest is to do a hard reset. Disconnect it from your phone and forget the device. Pull out both earbuds, long press both sensors for about 20-40 sec. Start connecting process from scratch.

The only thing that might help would be: forget them in the bluetooth settings of your phone. Put earbuds back in the case, shut the lid and long press the button at the back for a good 30-40 sec. Then start pairing process once again. 👍

See if you can jump into the settings of the buds on the iPhone, there is a toggle to turn these settings off. Probably will not work on Android.

This is to do with the overly sensetive sensors on the stems of the buds. It's all about how you place them in your ears.
