The blindfold test would've made more sense for the audio test, them knowing what they are listening to creates bias which muddied out their opinions.
Yeah man... It was a little bit stupid the way they did it... Blindfold audio test and visual check test... That's what I would expect...

I bought my wife the fakes and we got a pair of the real ones and I’ll say this . The fakes have way better bass and volume at least. The only thing better about the real ones is the noise cancelling
more bass doesn't equal better bass. the bass is supposed to be tight, not all over the place.

Like auduophile people dont like bose coz their bass is somewhat overpowered..but i love it, and also most people (youngster) love bass heavy music...

The problem of the most fakes is to phone call with them. Beside that it's basically the same.
Picked up what were supposed to be the real ones from a major retailer in the UK. Figured out the same day they had sold me counterfeit ones, seems people are buying the real ones then returning the unopened fakes for a refund and they’re shelving and reselling.

I think they use the case and forge the earbuds on some, i have the same serial number for case in the info section but earbuds have different serial number.
You really can’t tell the difference wtf. In this economy we might as well just be buying the fakes LOL.
I stuck around for the video, and who am I to say this, but that 'triggered' sound is quite obnoxious and detracts from the overall quality. Good stuff otherwise.

Serial number on case and on headphones should be different.
Fell for the fakes on eBay, twice! First pair; the right earpiece didn't charge in its case and the second pair wouldn't allow for noise cancelling because my phone couldn't detect that both earbuds were in my ears. In both instances, I couldn't link it to my Find My because it said that there was an original owner that still had them linked to 'their' account and they could see my location when I was using them... 😓 I eventually just went all in and got the real set from Apple, but I must say the packaging was so, so incredibly similar and very hard to detect what's real and what's not unless you know what you're looking for. One thing I noticed on both fakes - the boxes were wrapped in plastic and the real ones weren't. I don't know if the 'original owner' could see my location when I was using the fakes, but beware! Sadly it goes without saying if the price is too good to be true, it is!

They have to say case for AirPods so they don’t get sued lol. It’s not a scam if you look at the reviews they talk about the actual AirPods.

Yeah the software and the Dynamic Island works perfectly since the earphones have the license/MPN as real prooven airpods.

Lmfao because china makes apple products and about everything. lol. So they can make everything their own. Hence also why china is so rich. 😂
Probably a lot of the components are from the factory that makes the actual airpods. Also, what the phone gets is a signature, a code, which can be emulated. It's just code, you can program a chip to say it's apple if you know the apple code. I guess the right contacts, probably greased some palms, I don't know

I just bought a pair today…. And they sound great… bass is full on but can be attenuated with eq…. I’m happy saved me a few hundred pounds… they work fine…

I sent my husband to buy a pair of real AirPod pros because I needed something to block out the noise while I was listening to the audio from my courses. I watched a ton of videos and read a bunch of articles to educate myself so I wouldn’t get ripped off. I told my husband what to look out for and to compare them against his VERY closely to make very daaam sure they were real. When he came back I asked if he checked and he was like “yeah, they look the same.”
I couldn’t get the cancelling to work so I took them to the Apple Store. The tech showed me all the things that were different on them. My husband didn’t even look past the case and I ended up with reps that don’t have sound cancelling! Mine are exactly like the counterfeits in this video. They’re exactly like the real ones except without the noise cancellation… which is why I paid $300 instead of $15. Seriously 😂

How's the mic quality for the fakes?
It’s good . Tbh I have the fakes and I sell themself . And everyone enjoys it the only issue wit the fakes is that they don’t have the find my location features . But besides that they are wel worth the price and yes the mic quality is good

I bought some from eBay but I’m unsure if they’re real because of the price, but everything is working serial number is officially listed and my iPhone says even that they have apple care is this enough to be sure because apparently the case etc is way too similar to the originals to notice something
