- Battle Network 6's general battle theme was the only one to not be included in Double Team's remixes pack, though it's quite easy to understand why, Double Team as well as 5 itself being released before 6.
So I figured, "why not try to remix it in that style?".

Coming back to this remix, it's always such a joy to the ears. Such a shame BN6 lock on wasn't done.
If battle network 6 had a DS version, it would be called Double Beast.

FINALLY. Someone out there had this exact thought and managed to make it a reality.
It still amazes me that this isn't an official remix. Little things like the guitar riff at the end of the loop really seal the deal for me.

Honestly you did a good job staying faithful to the musical style the other remixes had. If I hadnt read the description I wouldnt had known. Amazing what the community can do.

Or if this came out as a love letter for anyone who wanted 6DS a thing. The one thing I want though for 6DS: Super Cybeast is the multi-route gimmick and you can now use all 10 crosses on either story. Beast-on's will still be story-specific except for a new after-story where MegaMan finally encounters the Super Cybeast and earns the Double Beast-On as the exclusive new form, as well as adding DiVE Cross in the special Deep Log event where MegaMan will meet up with RiCO and iCO telling about the anomaly in the internet, and a new ViA variant taking shape of Zero.EXE.

man this remix actually sounds better than the gba verison (I normally perfer gba version music more the ds version at times, but this one of those other occasions)

Thing I loved about the original was how sharp sounding and fast paced it was. Made the whole battle exciting and gave you that rush you needed to enjoy the repetitive random encounters. This sounds a bit more happy and soft. Doesn't really do it for me
This one is more for when the battle escalates from wild and chaotic to calm yet blisteringly focused, for when stuff like multiple program advances, reflect, and anti-damage get used. This is the battle music that would unlock once your base HP is 500.
To be fair, all of DTDS's soundtrack is like that: less "sharp" than the originals. I still like them though.

This is a pretty solid piece, but the part starting at 0:15 sounds too deep; it contrasts way too much from the key that the into part sets up.
I actually did a shitty 5 DS arrangement of this song a long ass time ago. Yours is way better.
