- When we made this video we wanted to get the best sound quality we could by recording the sound first under studio conditions and then mixing it to produce a final version - only then did we record the video showing the band performing to the sound track. The sound recording also has a bass guitar part played by the lead guitarist. What that means is that there may be points in the video where you can hear stuff that is not actully being performed. There may even be parts in the video where we edit in a close up taken from the individual sound recordings that we did on a different day and they are wearing different clothes! Don't panic! We are new to this so we are still learning how to make videos!

Nicely done! This is my absolute favorite Beatles song. I’m 68 years old. I heard the original when it hit the radios waves and I’ve heard NUMEROUS covers of it throughout all the years since, some not so great. You guys covered it extremely well…had me smiling and singing along, start to finish. George, Paul, John and Ringo would have loved it, no doubt! Thanks for all your hard work to pay homage to them and put your talented take on this classic! ROCK ON, Smashing Dragons!! Can’t wait to hear more from you!! 👍🏻👍🏻

His voice sounds great because I am willing to bet it was auto-tuned. If you listen to some of his other performances they are all slightly off-key😅

@@smashingdragons Come on! It is obvious in this video that even the audio is out of sync with the video proving that it was a modified overdub. I have no problem with that. Even Ringo uses Auto-Tune on his songs. Just saying.

Davy Jones have a great story relationed with The Beatles. When he was a teenager , he played the role of The artful Dodger in the musical Oliver. Part of the cast , including Jones , were invited to make a performance in The Ed Sullivan Show the same day than The Beatles. So Davy saw the Beatles' performance and decided to have the same success than the fav four with his own band.😊
