@@theceska8345 Give her praise for everything she does, if you can. Praise installs a self-confidence no one can otherwise apply, it has to come from within. I can be helped along though, and that's what honest happy praise does for a child who might otherwise lose faith in their abilities, or their self.

Much more along the lines of Garcia and perhaps maybe Edie Brickell and the new Bohemians it sounds like they assembled something right off of Jerry Garcia I forgot her song I think it was something about what I am is what I am is what you r, drowned me in the shallow water before I get too deep. I'm 16 and in a band called Party Hat Club. We are playing our first gigs this summer and already have built a decent following and are even traveling 5 hours to Chicago to play a music festival and I can confirm this is totally were it all starts. Playing in a band for the first time when I wasn't much older than these guys is what really began to set me up for success. Even though I play a different instrument in this band than I did those years ago, it was very formative in my abilities to collaborate with others. You guys sound great already and if you put in the work you can go great places. Never stop playing music.

One of my favorite songs. Gave it a listen while I was at work, and ended up not working and just jamming out to the beat at my desk haha!
To all the band members, you each did an excellent job at your respective parts. I know this song inside and out, and even though my ears could pick up a missed note here or there, that's to be expected when you're not a pro! But I've been playing guitar as a hobby since I was like, 10, and I'm in my 30s now - and I recognized guitar parts that I don't think I could do without tons of practice on those specific note sequences.
Same goes for the keyboard player, excellent job, you're on the right path to greatness!
Vocals? Absolutely amazing. Don't ever stop pursuing it if you wanna take that path! Never let anybody tell you anything less than how awesome your singing is! I refuse to sing in front of other people because I was teased as a kid. Even though I can harmonize to my favorite songs pretty well.
Drums? I dunno much about them, but anyone who can hit different beats on three things at once is a champ. I can BARELY pat my head and rub my belly lol. But you did great, do some more work on your tempo pacing and you'll be a pro in no time!
All of you ROCK, the people helping you out ROCK and this song ROCKS 💜

Glad the description explained the addition of multiple guitars and bass .as well as, as different rhythm than hearing being played at times…. Also it being exolained that even the parts we dont see are almost all these kids makes it all completely acceptably awesome 🤟🏼✌️👍🏼

Very nice that the younger generation appreciate "Sultans of Swing" and pick it up in 2024.
It was Summer of 1978, we were on holiday in Scotland. At that moment the music scene was mainlly lead by punkrock and disco...
Every time when we passed by some cafés and heard some parts of this new sound. So clean, pure, honest, refreshing and melodic. So curious by which group? Until after 2 weeks back in Holland we know for sure: Dire Straits. This song became my all time favourite. I've seen DS two times live in concert.
Thank you, Mark Knopfler & co!
Also thanks to MK (so humble) for his charity project "Going Home" [instrumental theme from "Local Hero", 1983], recently with 60 guitarplayers... Wonderful !!!

Every time I watch these guys they are better than the last time. The vocals were great, the guitarists was spot on and the drummer and keyboardist were a great back up. I have to say these guys are sure adorable. Makes me wish I was a 12-year-old girl so I could stand in line to ask them out on a date. Lol. Love you guys. Keep on making us smile. Never give up your music.

Great! Simply great! Reminds me of my group the Mystics in 65-66 when we did all the Stones, Chuck Berry, Eric Burdon and the Animals, and topped it off with G L O R I A......I love to see these youngsters play and sing standard rock and roll instead of junk.
