Im not even a fan or regular viewer. I don't follow her on any social media nor am I subscribed to her. However, don't you think she's gotten enough comments to know what people do and don't like about her? Don't you think she gets the point? Why do you think she's become less personal? Hint: look at the comments.
How can you expect a 17 year old to be exactly how she was when she was 10? I get it, she used to be hyper and goofy in her videos... But she was 10! Even at 13-14 she was much more enthusiastic, but there's a huge difference between a 14 year old and a 17 year old.
She's maturing, it's natural. She's finding herself, expressing herself.
I mean honestly all these comments about how she's changed, her videos are terrible, she has no personality, etc. are ridiculous and unneccessary. SHE GETS IT, YOU DON'T LIKE HER, MOVE ON! Don't watch her videos if you don't like her. She's trying. She has people film for her, got better lighting, better sound quality, different angles.
I understand you guys don't care about the quality of her videos but she's an "artist" and artists want to be the best they can be and they want to put something out that they are proud of. She's never going to be the cheery 10 year old filming on her iphone in her bedroom again, and you all need to accept it and stop giving her so much damn backlash.

about the last video: A couple years ago I was such a huge fan of Amanda. I had an instagram account called @amandasperf and I made edits of all of her videos and she even followed me and reposted a lot of my edits. I had that account for around a year and I was losing interest in posting on that account and watching her videos in general, because I myself moved on and changed from watching beauty videos and diys because I grew up. I think what Amanda did is so brave.. to put your honest opinion out there about yourself is really hard when you have such a large following. There is a lot on the line. But the point is, that she risked losing what she had in order to be true to her self. In this moment I have mad respect for you Amanda, I wish you the best xo

I don't understand when people use change as a way to hate on youtubers because everyone, especially as a teenager "changes" and finds themselves. it sets the foundation and concealer so it doesn't budge at all and if you have oily skin it prevents that, also if you use a shade lighter it gives you a subtle glow

It does when it's done right. Drag queens have been doing it for so long. When you put a thick layer of powder on cream products, it traps your body heat between, and literally bakes it which makes it stay a LOT longer. :)

I think people forget that she's human. I think we forget she's a teenage girl with insecurities and flaws. We forget she has feelings and thoughts. We forget that she gets sad and has breakdowns and eats food and gets crushes on boys and has period cramps and gets sick. We forget. And I think that's sad. And i'm so proud of her for her new video. I've been waiting for that video for a while now. I'm so happy she's sticking up for herself and she's taking control and saying, "hey, this is me. I'm real and if you don't like me, that's okay". I'm really looking foreword to seeing her grow and blossom into the person she really is and wants to be. Can I just say your most recent video (the one after this) is the reatest video I have seen from any of the youtubers I'm subscribed to! also some people just prefer it, and again, there is absolutely no problem with that
Kate Brooks colourpop shadows are kind of a gel texture. you don't use a shader brush with that and get amazing pigment.

I think that it's important for people to realize that being 13 is WAY different from being 17, yes you're still a teenager but at 17 you're matured. When I look back at my 13 year old self (I'm also 17 like Amanda) I cringe because I was super bubbly and obsessed with 1D and was like "OMG high school!!". However, now at 17 I'm applying to college and I have a job. I think that Amanda's channel is growing for the better, if that's who she wants to be then let her. She has lots of followers and companies that watch her, so I think it's important to have a good image online. That editing is SO good and I love her style. She's just a teenager that decided to share her life with us, and obviously there are gonna be changes and stuff. I hope Amanda reads this because I really love her new style and I'm proud of her for being who she is. It takes balls to be honest in front of a huge platform. I can't wait to see her grow as well.
