Imax has a bigger screen ratio
And 3d is just 3d ...

IMAX has higher screen aspect ratio compared to regular 3D screen. And IMAX screens are very large and the screens have curves on the edges which makes the audience even sitting in the corner feel as if they're viewing from the center.

The movie was.......very short (?) Just seemed way smaller than the overload of trailers suggested. Shimo was extremely underwhelming and poorly rendered (its clear she was a last minute insert). Mothras colours were pure heisei, godzilla was great. Kong had the lions share of the vfx budget. Dan stevens was fun, wouldn't mind if it was just him for the third gxk film.
