How To Fix Messenger Voice Record Not Working

Let's fix your Facebook Messenger if the voice record option is not working properly.
If you're trying to record your voice on Facebook Messenger but it's not working make sure to turn off Bluetooth since it may be connected to a headphone. Also, you can try to update the app to make sure there aren't any updates. Lastly, try to offload the app and reinstall it which should fix any voice recording issues you may have. This works for both iPhone and Android in 2021.

This doesn't work for me. I have deleted and re-installed messenger so many times already and it STILL randomly decides its not going to send my audio messages. I go through all of the trouble recording a message only to be given an error and find out fb didn't record any of it!

My messenger couldn't send voice message too. The current version is 330.0. It has a small red exclamation point right beside the voice message. It's really annoying -_-

@George Huddison Today I did reset factory via Itunes. Update to the latest IOS version 14.8 but the result still not reasonable so much. Messenger still working unstableness. Please notify me when you have a solution. Thanks

My wife got a Samsung S24 Ultra, and the 🎤 icon is missing on Messenger. It's not there at all. To do a voice message, she has to hit "+", then select "record voice" from the drop-down menu, and then a big red record button appears. You can hold it down and record a VM up to 60 seconds long. When it hits 60 seconds, it automatically sends the VM, or any time that you release the record button during your message, it sends it. How do you get the 🎤 icon back on Messenger so that you can just press 🎤 , it then starts recording, record as long as you want, then it sends it when you hit the "▶️" send icon. How do I get the 🎤 back? And she's uninstalled & reinstalled Messenger 3 times. And I got the exact same phone at the exact same time, and my Messenger works fine. 🤷 HELP!!!
