I love this! Thanks for breaking down road types and taking the time to explain how to utilize roads for my advantage. I’ll have to try this in my next city. Keep them coming

Glad it was helpful! Roads can be the most complicated feature if you don’t use them correctly and plan for future expansion.

As soon as I hit 30k, my traffic goes to shit.

I hear ya! I’ve noticed that I have heavy traffic shortly after I zone with everyone moving it. One item I’ve done was create a longer “runway” for connector roads to help funnel traffic appropriately. This can be achieved via making the first intersection bridge over the connector or using one way roads. Another item to consider is replace pedestrian crossings using pedestrian bridges and dedicated paths. The current video I’m working on covers the benefits of managing pedestrian crossings particularly utilizing pedestrian bridges. Lastly, feel free to let me know if there is anything you’d like to see to help solve the dreaded traffic jam icon.

🤣 I am subscribed to a few, but don’t have them enabled. The “vanilla” game has some great features to use and learn as it is. My goal is to showcase the “out of the box” features and how to best implement them.
