I agree with all that you said and follow what you say when it comes to the days of the week! Another thing to note, too, is the hour of the day is ruled by the planets so if you didn't want to wait for Saturday to do a protection spell, you could cast it on like a Tuesday at the hour of Saturn. That's what I do when I'm impatient and don't want to wait for a specific day.
Thank you for the video! I have worked for years with the days of the week in relation to the planets, now I work with the days of the week mainly with the Norse Gods, offerings and a spell on the appropriate day if I want to do something with a particular deity, or spirit journeys to get in touch with that deity. I've been working more into planetary magic for a while now and, although they are assigned to the days of the week, I've switched to working with the planets when they are above the horizon, so if it was dark and I didn't live in a big city or have the necessary equipment, I could see them, or if they are actually sending their energy to my patch of the earth right now, when they can "see" what I'm doing. That works much better for me. The problem is that it's not so nice every 7 days and sometimes you have to wait a bit longer, especially if you also want to coordinate it with the phases of the moon... I usually do big spells that can be planned with the planets, other big but more urgent ones with the gods, smaller ones without any entities at all.
I like Fridays. -- as Friday tends to be the end of the work/school week for many of us and I believe that buildup of anticipation has a lot of power in magick. For me, Fridays are days of potential and future possibilities that are yet to take solid form in our life. I personally feel this energy is the strongest around dusk as that's when people begin to manifest their weekend plans into the physical world. _(so I'm basically just using a mundane process in a creative way to transform something that's quite ordinary into something that's quite magickal 😄)_
Monday - god Mani, “mani day goddess Hekate/Hecate. Magic day Tuesday - god Tyr, “Tyr’s day” god Mars/Aires war day Wednesday “Wodans day” or Odinns day. God Mercury, or Hermes message day Thursday god Thor “Thors day” god Jupiter or Zeus friend to humanity, hero’s day Friday goddess Freyja “Freyjas day” goddess Venus or Aphrodite romance day, love day Saturday god Saturn. “Saturns day” Saturn is also Kronos party day Sunday goddess Sol. “Sols day” god Sol, or Helios rest day “as the sun sets”
Hello, I would be curious as a possibly new pagan: what exactly made you follow Norse paganism specifically over other pantheons? I know that Greek was an obsession for some good decades and inspired lots of modern storytelling tropes, and now it's a rise with Norse culture but as far as I see, Norse paganism is the most chosen one out of all, I don't know how followed Hellenism is or other Pantheons! Some kind of video ideas: benefits regarding Norse Paganism or why is it among the first choices (I know that most also worship other deities from different mythologies and cultures!) ❤
It was intuitive for me, I was just drawn to it from the beginning… but looking back I guess it was probably also my ancestors pushing me into this direction. I have a huge chunk of Scandinavian ancestry and I’m in a way culturally connected to it because where I’m from in Germany was Danish up until about 150 years ago. So the Norse deities would’ve been worshipped here too ☺️
coincidentally, I was doing research on my own on this exact topic and while doing that, I remembered the poll you put up some time ago and that this was one of the options! haven't seen the video yet but I'm already sure it'll be fun and informative🤍🤍
