Yeah, black crystals are protection but there can be subtle differences in how they protect. Like tourmaline absorbs negativity and usually needs to be cleansed periodically to often depending on how hard it has to work whereas, like you said, obsidian blocks negativity and doesn’t usually require cleansing much.
I think a lot of green witches skip the protective circle because our spells and magic oftentimes are spontaneous, or we live our daily lives in tune with natural energies. I was briefly part of a coven that engaged in ceremonial magic and rituals, and it always felt... like you said, a little awkward. Now, I just sort of slip into a mindful/meditative state of awareness and let the spirit move me, as it were.
Ohhhh yesss!!! It felt like I was TRYING to be a witch instead of just doing what I felt natural!!! It’s actually really nice to hear others say they don’t do it for the same reasons as well cuz most groups will go all “you aren’t a witch if you don’t do circles!” Like ooooo ok! Lol
When I’m working I don’t worry about doing something for protection because I ware crystals every day so I’m always protected 😁. Thank you for your videos
For a witches bottle if you don't want to use your urine you can use fingernails,hair or anything else from your body. Though urine is highly recommended, its not the end all-be all. Just FYI😊

hello! just a question. is it okay if i put protective herbs and crystals in jars around my house to protect my home? does it work? i saw a post on it but i forgot the details of whether or not it was legit so i was just wondering. thanks :)
Yes! Jar spells are great for home protections! ☺️ there are a bunch of different ways to set up the jars or how and where to set the crystals. For me I do a simple jar spell as well as a place my protection sigils out side on the doors and under the welcome mat

I don't use circles either. They just didn't feel right for me, too complicated.
