My daughter is 33 and has some serious medical issues and is on constant supplemental oxygen and I STILL go over to the little condo we bought for her and do Momma cleaning touches! Motherhood and fatherhood does not end and people that don’t understand that are maybe not parents themselves?
Absolutely! The mother in me will never sleep no matter how old my children get. My mom still does a lot for me too and I’m 34 years old. Thats how it’s supposed to be 😊
Some people will always feel the need to give their "unsolicited" opinion about something, let them. Opinions are like A**holes, everyone has them, and they all stink! My two youngest are 25 and 21 they still live at home and work extremely hard. I will, on occasions, do their laundry and straighten up their rooms. I am a sahm home and don't mind as I know they will be leaving soon enough. They pay their own bills and help out at home also. Frankly, it's no one's business. There's no need to explain yourself! You do a fantastic job! Love the new rug and plants. 🦋🦋 P.S. I don't have a green thumb to save my life so thanks for letting us know about the plant company 😊.

The new rug in the living room definitely makes the room complete now. I was thinking you might want to try the old one under the dining room table if it doesn't work in your son's room. Also I love to see that someone else turns their top sheet print side down, my husband thought it was strange when he saw me doing that. Apparently when asking nobody else I know does.🦋

We sometimes forget that kids need love and helping them is charity (love). Great job Kelly in giving your kids responsibility and love at the same time. Editing to add that your helping their dad is an amazing testimony of love and is quite amazing nowadays.
This! I had regular chores growing up, of course! But I was in extracurricular activities and got to be a kid. Raised my kids the same way when they were these kids' age and they are neat young adults today 😊🦋
OMGSH , I absolutely LOVE the rug in your living room. It was exactly what the room needed. And it's absolutely THE PERFECT size and color. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! I also just wanted to let you know that you can actually take 4 Phillips head screws that are pointed on the ends and screw one in each corner of your bathtub panels. Then paint the screw heads white and you won't even be able to notice it. That way you can easily remove the screws to access the fixtures, if needed and then replace them right back. Hi Kelly, I am watching older videos - to get more food out of those rice and pasta packages I have made plain white rice or the same shape pasta and add it to pan and mix well. You might need to add just a little more water to the desired consistency. As the kids get bigger and want more helpings it stretches the meal for more servings.

Everything is looking lovely Kelly, another inspiring video! ❤ And it seems like a lot of people don't have balance in appreciating their kids, it's really a privilege to get to take care of children! As well as balance care with teaching them to do for themselves and contribute to the family as well as they get older. Kids also learn a lot from watching their parents in action. I always had certain regular chores, and as long as I did them, which I was glad to, my parents were not overly strict in making me join in with cleaning. However I still go in and do a weekly clean as well because they do the best they can. I too want to hold on she’s my only living child out of 5 pregnancies so I cherish everything even the messes❤

Pom cracked me up when she laid on the rug the second you put it down😂guess she was helping & relaxing after her spa day. You picked the perfect curtains for that kitchen window!!!! So pretty & adds so much to the feel. I wish I had a window in my kitchen, I'd get those. Rug fits the space so much better & matches very well. My favorite are the orange rolls too, the best! Glad you addressed the "issue" at the end & hopefully it helps put a stop to those unkind remarks that are so unnecessary. Always surprises me.

Love the new rug, We have always called Snake plants Mother in Law plants( pointed sharp tongues) I have one that is more than 40 years old and so big we decorate it for holidays! I got into my kids rooms at least once a week when they were little too. I see the awful comments about the children of utubers, believe me, you aren't the only one getting those kind of comments. That LR rug is gorgeous and a perfect match for your sofa looks really good. Are you going to be getting your baseboards done soon? I know you said you had other projects first, that will really finish off the rooms. I love the minor details that make a huge impact on a space. I have never heard of self-watering plants very interesting, no green thumb here either lol. You are very lucky to get so much free stuff to try for companies. I see it is a trend with RUclipsrs to get free goodies, it's funny I watch so many channels like yours and most of them have gotten the Patiowell sheds and other similar stuff. 🦋
Love the curtains. Lace is always beautiful. My window is like yours with cabinets on both sides. I use a small tension rod. It works great when I change decor, easy to adjust up and down as needed.

Love the rug! Carpet padding smaller than the rug will add a lot of comfort to under the rug, and makes it non slip as well.
I have a teenager and she keeps her room clean but I still give it a Mom’s touch every once in a while. 🦋

🦋Kelly we love your videos and why people need to make assumptions is beyond me. I have a 7 year old daughter and she’s very good about cleaning up her toys. However I still go in and do a weekly clean as well because they do the best they can. I too want to hold on she’s my only living child out of 5 pregnancies so I cherish everything even the messes❤

Pom cracked me up when she laid on the rug the second you put it down😂guess she was helping & relaxing after her spa day. You picked the perfect curtains for that kitchen window!!!! So pretty & adds so much to the feel. I wish I had a window in my kitchen, I'd get those. Rug fits the space so much better & matches very well. My favorite are the orange rolls too, the best! Glad you addressed the "issue" at the end & hopefully it helps put a stop to those unkind remarks that are so unnecessary. Always surprises me.
Oh she does that with everything 😂 I could lay a piece of card board box on the floor and she’s laying on it first thing. Everything is a “bed” lol
Kelly the rug is PERFECT!!! It just added the perfect touch in the living room 🦋 I also have similar lace curtains in my kitchen too. Mine are from my late mother-in-law who passed back in 2012. I kept them to have a little piece of her heart in our home. 🦋

I LOVE your new living room rug! It looks beautiful in there. I'm going to have to get those curtains for my kitchen. I need something on that window, but I also want some of the light to come through. My kitchen is small and dark, so I don't want to lose that natural light. Those look perfect! Love the new rug, We have always called Snake plants Mother in Law plants( pointed sharp tongues) I have one that is more than 40 years old and so big we decorate it for holidays! Some folks aren’t happy unless they are criticizing the way others live their life, usually because they are jealous! You do you! You are a strong woman, what better influence to show your kiddos!🦋🐰🌼

I do like the new rug in the living room. The rug and the addition of the plant take it up a notch. I’m a sucker for the lace curtains. That’s what I have in my bedroom & living room. It’s a shame that the situation about the kids and whether they clean or not has become a topic for viewers discussion. You are so correct to protect them and don’t ever let anyone make you feel like you’re not a good mom. Some people get mouthy with their keyboard because they can hide behind it. 🦋🦋🦋
I got into my kids rooms at least once a week when they were little too. I see the awful comments about the children of utubers, believe me, you aren't the only one getting those kind of comments. It's judging, assuming and rude. Please don't let it bother you. On a different note the new rug is beautiful and the curtains add so much to the kitchen. That LR rug is gorgeous and a perfect match for your sofa looks really good. Are you going to be getting your baseboards done soon? I know you said you had other projects first, that will really finish off the rooms. I love the minor details that make a huge impact on a space. I have never heard of self-watering plants very interesting, no green thumb here either lol. You are very lucky to get so much free stuff to try for companies. I see it is a trend with RUclipsrs to get free goodies, it's funny I watch so many channels like yours and most of them have gotten the Patiowell sheds and other similar stuff. 🦋

My window is like yours with cabinets on both sides. I use a small tension rod. It works great when I change decor, easy to adjust up and down as needed.
