Put the fridge cabinet above stove with microwave range hood attached under it. Then you won't have to get a new microwave that will take up counter space.
I was thinking the same thing. Plus she then could use those cupboards above the freezer. Kelly you've done an amazing job making the house a home!

Yes. Just raise the fridge cabinet up higher. I’ve seen a ton of kitchens that have a raised cabinet above the fridge
Kelly, give the velvet hangers a chance. They are a pain when you have to hang up everything at once, but when you have that done they are nice. It used to drive me crazy to open my closet and see several things were off the old hangers and in the floor. Your home is beautiful. I’m so happy for you! 🦋
If you swap out the shorter cabinet that was above the fridge for the one over the stove, you may create enough room to install your microwave hood range.

Kelly-take the cabinet/good down above the stove & put the cabinet up that you removed from above the fridge. This should give you the room to put that microwave above your stove!!!

You could put a butcher block top on your island and locking wheels for easier cleaning and mopping.
If your vent hood is vented out the roof you could move the cabinet above the stove now and move the one that was above the refrigerator and put the microwave under that cabinet.

Yay, for moving. Don't wash the wooden spoons in the dishwasher, it ruins them. They last longer being hand washed.
Just an idea…. (Sorry if anyone suggested already but I didn’t read through all the comments)… you could take the smaller cabinets you removed from the area you but your refrigerator and put them above your stove with the range microwave under the smaller cabinets . I hope that makes sense! That’s how mine is set up and I LOVE it! No microwave taking up counter space! Good luck with your move and cuter home adventures! 🦋

Kelly you are amazing! You've got so much done in a short time to create a wonderful home for your children. That buffet will be a great island work space and having such a large kitchen you need that counter top in the middle.
The three tier metal cart from your old bathroom setup would be great for books….. just an idea! Congrats on your new place!!!!
She's using that to keep the front door open because apparently, it won't stay open.
Just FYI for any future moving… Just leave your hanging clothes on the hanger and put a trash bag over them to transport. We did that when we moved and it was super easy! We had a very close move too so we didn’t even bother with the trash bags. We threw them in the back seat of the car and went.
And leave stuff in there regular storage bins if possible to save time and boxes. Like your shoe basket or bins you could just throw in the car also. Then you don’t have to worry about unpacking as much.

A tip for the top of your cabinets that I wish I knew about a long time ago, is put wax paper or folded newspaper on the top to make it easier to clean in the future. Grease goes flying all over when you cook & lands up there. It is hard to remove and with paper you can just replace it. You can use the baskets on the island to hide the things you don't really want to see.

Don't get rid of the hangers!! Lol. When I first got mine I was like oh no I don't like them!! But you get used to them I swear. It's an adjustment but you will end up loving them! Plus it's so pleasing to the eye to see all the same hangers in your closet. That's one purchase I definitely am glad I made 😊 hope that helps!

As I watch this video, it lets me know that we know where we've been, but don't know where we're going. I have been watching you for a very long time, so I know that previously lived there. We go through life, thinking if we dot our "i and cross our "t. God will always have the better plan. I'll be the first person to admit, that I'm impatient and think I can rush God, because I've been praying for certain things for years, from a very young age, like 12yrs old. The mirrors are pretty. Just get cabinet knobs to match and maybe some silver countertop accessories too. It will pull it all together with the silver. Everything is looking great!

I love velvet hangers and would never go back. Takes a few times to learn how to put the clothes on but they work so much better.
Your clothes if you left them on the coat hangers grab a handful of clothes , put a hole at the bottom of your plastic bag and slide the hangers with the clothes on inside the bag to protect them , if you have larger bags tape up the bottom so they don’t fall out you can also try the hangers together to make them easier to carry then you just hang them straight into your new place x

This is so fun to watch you get settled into your own home that you’ve worked so hard for! I feel like all of your stuff fit in that one room magically because that’s what you needed at the time! He always looks out for us! I was just wondering something, why don’t you hang the kids’ day clothes up in the closet and then use the dresser drawers for pajamas and socks and underwear? I’m loving the white coffee pot! It stands out so good on the counter. And that wooden charcuterie board is adorable under there and will look so good with your little sugar cup on it and a little plant or greenery. Can’t wait to see what the island looks like in the kitchen that’s where I was hoping you would put it. Lol. 🦋

Mobile homes are underrated! They are absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. While they are fun to fix up, it’s the love within the walls that really make it a home 🤍
