Good job👍👍
Still working hard I see. That was a big beaver for sure.
No days off!
👍
Beaver meat is great, give it a try you won’t regret it!
Someone else told me that! Have to try it
I would change ammo to see if that made a difference. Check everything over on the upper to make sure it’s tight.
Had same thing happen to my rice pond recently after it flooded to fast after big storms for multiple days. Pretty sure wild rice if flooded to quickly/deep while it is in a certain stage makes it susceptible to uprooting. Also had geese nipping tips of grass.
I am being told Army worms??
Narrator: and it didn’t stop raining
No kidding... has been hit with a down pour every night since too. Trail cam dumped photos and the swamp is underwater...
@@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors never seen anything like it in ENC. was suppose to plant jap millet next weekend now I’m not sure. No way to drain my pond, when it wet it full and when it’s dry, it dry.
Nice looking field of tobacco. Brings back memories from many years ago working it in my high school years. Hard work,
I "cold bore" zero all my rifles. Now they are bolt actions so I very seldom shoot more than once.
For my deer rifle I usually do the same and average a three shot group. I think I will leave this AR alone and just hold a little high that first shot
nice beaver
Do you have a “Beaver season”? Or can you kill them year round?
Year round if they are doing damage to a property. there is a season for keeping the fur in the winter I believe.
Any problems with snakes ? I was cleaning my ponds yesterday and moccasins everywhere .
No, thankfully not. In all my years and travels there I have only seen 2-3 Red Belly Water Snakes. I have never seen a venomous snake there.
@@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors awesome. They are thick here in FL
Why don’t you put a camera there and see what’s eating the rice.
Step ahead of you! I hunt one that day at the upper end. I am being told Army Worms based on what the blades look like
