For me my favorite retro game goes all the way back to the Atari 2600. That game is Pitfall. For me it was the first game that I truly played over and over and over. I actually BROKE the joystick if you can believe it I played it so much. As far as modern games go, I would have to say it is Xenoblade Chronicles Remastered on the Nintendo Switch. I am an RPG fanatic and it quit truly kept me engrossed from beginning to end. I'm hoping I can be around for the WhatNot auction but have a medical procedure that day. My friend brought it to my house back in 1999 and my dad watched us play and when my friend left we didn't reset the ps1 and the game was still "live" on the console. My dad and I played for another hour and then he said "Ricky we are going to Toys R Us". It's one of my favorite memories.

The top loaders got rid of the flashing color screens when u tried to start up a game!! It wasn't dust on the cart!!! It was the pins the read the cartridges! That's why putting 2 games in would usually always help it!

Favorite Retro: Starfox 64 Have played through it so many times, and now connecting to my nephew through it. Looking very forward to sharing it with my own kids when they are a little older.

My favorite retro game is without a doubt Super Mario World. It’s aged extremely well and has entertained me since I was a young boy. I truly feel that it is the best side scroller out there.
uh no last of us is trash and overrated. Naughty dog is awful. Games like final fantasy were art before last of us.

@@BowmansWorld you’re fully entitled to that opinion. Final Fantasy games are also great, but narratively *I* feel that Last of Us tops those games. But that’s my opinion. Yours clearly differs and that’s totally okay.

My favorite modern game has to be the Gears of War series. Absolutely love the story line and gameplay, its extremely deep an immersive. As far as my favorite retro game it would have to be The Legend of Zelda for the NES, I still find myself going back to play it through even today.

Favorite modern game: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Solid gameplay, sea shanties and an unforgettable story centered around an incredible main character in Edward Kenway.
Favorite retro game: Final Fantasy VI. Top notch 16-bit graphics and sprites, one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, the largest mainline cast in Final Fantasy history and an absolutely unforgettable story with the absolute best villain, Kefka Palazzo. Nothing short of a masterpiece game.

Halo 3 is the greatest video game of all time. It has a great campaign, amazing multiplayer, forge mode, theater and custom games. Favorite retro video game is NFL Blitz 2000 for the N64. Loved whenever I unlocked big head mode

• Assetto Corsa - love this game mostly due to the mod Shutoko Revival Project! Super fun recreation of the Tokyo Highways with the highly realistic mechanics of Assetto Corsa is just a perfect mix.

• Crazy Taxi - this game.. it was legit my first ever gaming experience on a 90s video game console. I’ll never forget The Offspring playing while trying to beat the timer to each stop. What a memory!
The top loaders got rid of the flashing color screens when u tried to start up a game!!

Thanks for another great video. My favorite retro game is Pokemon Blue because not only did it introduce me to the Pokemon franchise but it also was my introduction into the rpg genre. My favorite modern game is Cuphead because it's a fun run and gun game that provides me with the same fun I get from retro games like Contra and Megaman (its artstyle is also amazingly good).

Favorite modern game is Hotline Miami. It's like a steady injection of adrenaline with the fast gameplay and pumping music, plus I love the retro aesthetics, hidden lore and arcadey feel of chasing a higher score.
Favorite classic is Goof Troop for the SNES. Love the level design, puzzles, quirkiness and the fact that it's a killer 2 player game.
I'm gonna go on an obscure route, now. My favorite modern game is Teeworlds. It's an opensource online game for the PC that has a good and diverse amount of servers. Trust me. It's a very fun online game. My favorite retro game is Blobbo. It's a very hard puzzle game for Classic Mac OS and it's the most addicting puzzle game that I've ever played.
