Love the videos man! Because of you I now am amassing my collection. Before I couldn't justify the "expense " but now I'm acquiring all the gear I've always wanted. Now I'm gonna pay it forward and give deals to starting collectors that will inspire them as well. Thanks Rick! And keep those videos coming
That Mello Yellow car that you showed, is actually from the 90s Movie “Days of thunder” with Tom cruise, check it out if you haven’t. It’s a really good flick.
Retro Rick, I went to an antique mall in Maumee, OH that you might like. They had a lot of stuff related to your favorite shows from the 80s and 90s! I also got some Star Wars stuff for my collection while I was there.
I started hunting about a month ago after watching your 10 dollar game collection series and had only found meager dvds and blurays, made about 60 bucks. Yesterday I finally found my first big score, mario party 4 and mario party 5 for gamecube, 2 bucks each! It got me excited for more hunting!
O. M. G.!!!!! I had that robot bank growing up!!! HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME!!! I little piece of my childhood just came crawling back to me at that moment...
@@retrorick I remember the Avon lady coming to our house every once in a while when I was a kid. I never realized that's where my robot bank came from. I used to love lifting off it's helmet and feeding it coins!!! My mind about exploded when you pulled it out of that box!!! Very cool Rick!!!
I'm going to stay a Patreon even though you just admitted you aren't a fan of Fraggle Rock lol. Saturday nights as a 6 year old was all about Fraggle Rock and Disney. Keep up the great work Retro!
Dudeeeee that avon robot bank hit me the biggest nostalgia bomb ever!!! Hopped on ebay and bout one for 20 ! My grandma used to sell avon..forgot about it until this video! Thanks retro rick!
I had that toy story game on the ds when the movie was still in theatres as a kid. That game brings back some great memories, and it was definatley a hidden gem on the DS.
if you go to a goodwill on a monday you should try going there as soon as they open, and head straight for the grab bags. i always find old tcg cards, and really cool vintage toys that way.
I thought so too.. But Cole Trickle/Rowdy Burns car was no 51 used in the last race of the movie. Kyle Petty's used a No.42 Mello Yello livery around 1992/93
that Robot is pretty dope. Nice pickups - I just snagged a bunch of Laserdiscs - Home Alone 1/2, Little Rascals, Might Ducks, League of their Own, Mrs Doubtfire, Blank Check, Twister and the Rocketeer.
That Fraggle Rock car is the harder one to find. Also, I think the ET head should extend up like in the movie. Never seen the Avon robot ,wow! Love from NJ💕
When I was a kid we’d order toys from the Avon catalog. They had some weird stuff. I really want to see what those 30 year old raisins look like. Probably just a brown wrinkly rectangle will slither out of the box. Exciting!
Metal Turtle was the best toy there! Nice. I laughed at the pictures they chose for tehe front of the Captain Planet box. Why out of all the images they choose a random man!
I love robots too. I didn't know avon had any, it's so cool! I would love to find Captain Planet stuff in the wild, but so far no luck. Great find! Thank you for sharing.
OMG I’ve been waiting for the day you came across Superstar. It is my favorite movie OF ALL TIME!! I’m sooo happy you came across that movie and can appreciate it just as much as I do.Honestly it’s an underrated movie. Best video so far. Ahh you made my day with that find.
I found one of those coke glasses for Mum and she loves it, I've always wondered if it was worth anything! Love your vids, i've been binging them for over a week now haha Wishing we had stuff like this in Australia! Take care Rick - Sammy
Man that Avon robot was a must pick-up! In the box and the colors still look great! I guess next Thursday's video we get to watch you eat that entire box of raisins? Lol
That california raisins bank sealed up new goes for 50 plus on eBay. I bought one a few months back for my raisins collection. Wished I'd have found it for that price.
Hey Rick ur awesome at collecting and a inspiration! My game room is coming along pretty good also. Especially with everything going on its a room I can escape to and enjoy and relive memories. I have a 27" round screen sanyo crt thats like brand new with a 8 way av switch. All the consoles that I had growing up plus some! Lol! Looking for a good vcr and will be getting another converter box so I can watch tv with the old rabbit ears! Have plenty of 90's early 2000's posters and starting on the ol toy collection!
Just to let you know if you're ever in the Northwest Arkansas area like Tonitown AR. There is a couple of flea antique stores there and there is tons of E.T. stuff in one of them. Like lunch box with thermos and tons of toys.
Goodwill "bins" had tons of McD's toys and probably 100 folded happy meal boxes. Hardly anyone grabbed it and I bought a reuse bags worth for $20. Someone's life's collection went to pieces. Hated to leave the rest.
Every time I see Turtle toys I remember my vast turtle collection I had when I was a kid. I’m talking 30+ figurines. Sold them all when I was 12 😓 Regrets till this day.. I’m 35 now
Rick if you ever see any of the Universal Monsters TMNT figures in you thrifting....get them! I'm not a big TMNT fan but am a Universal Monsters fan so I got the set back when and kept them in the packaging. Those things ebay for about a $100 apiece these days. One of them gets $300!

What you call "Flea Market" we call Antique Shops/Malls here in Colorado. Flea markets are usually just junk for the most part and outdoors. :)
I’m loving all the E.T. things you keep finding!
The comment you made on the raisins part about eating them and dying made me laugh my humor is too dark lol xD
