That part of the city is fairly new, less than 10 years old
Step outside of Belgrade to see the truth of Serbia's economic condition. Belgrade is a lovely city and everything looks rosy. That is because decently paid work is almost impossible to get outside of the major cities.
yet the people have everything they need. family, community, and culture.
@@SRB_SYNDICATE Don't forget laws that can be abused with the aim of protecting foreign companies wreaking havoc on the environment by imprisoning protestors. Belgrade is a lovely place to visit nonetheless.

@biljanamarkovic4434 in hindsight, I should have stayed in old town - much more vibrant and original - but waterfront was also a cool experience

Ugliest city in the world, but on the most beautiful place (rivers Sava, and Danube)!!!
It's not the most beautiful place. Cities on coastal areas or mountain areas are in much more beautiful surroundings. River confluences look almost like flood plain areas. St. Louis is located on the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and its not so beautiful.

То какав је ко човек је флексибилан суд.
За мене је добар човек само Србин...али не сваки. Само онај Србин који воли и чува свој народ ћ, наслеђе и државу.
Туристи ме не занимају генерално и не желим да живим живот такав да би се некоме допао, већ живот достојан својих предака.
