Hey Greig I do rockhounding videos in Arizona. I found a black nugget I originally thought was a meteor. It was unfortunately non magnetic. When I I took it home I cut a small peice off and it looked like the silver you were cutting in your other video. Could I send you a couple of pics and let me know? Thanks
So I have a question I’m working with a new material that I’m not familiar with I have 1 pound of it it’s called Fluorite I’d be willing to send it to you so that you could make it a video series or video idea tumble from start to finish and then send it back when done
Fluorite is difficult to tumble, because it is soft. I have tried a few times and have videos (which I always do win or fail). Probably better to polish on a flat lap.

When I have slices cut I select the ones that have potential, while i'm watching the saw making another cut I will select a slices with potential and with my sharpie in hand I mark off the parts that will not be suitable, I won't mark for cabs at that point, I just let the Image sit in the back of my mind, some time later I will see a shape or design and it's like a light going on, that's the one for that piece.
Unfortunately it's been a while since I did any cabs and in all honesty I must stop giving them away.
That's my girl, Daisy, the boss, nicer than any rock there.
I saw some meMiner B.I.F. on one shelf, not as nice as the one I had as a gift from my good friend Greig.
Keep an eye on him Daze.
Yeah, lots of BIF shining in the rain and it makes me think I need to take some of those rocks out of my garden and polish them. My wife watched the video before your comment, but she was looking forward to it. I am sure she will go back and you don't disappoint. ;-)
Orange may be our national color, but it's definitely not my favorite color! I do however like too see a sea of orange at international sporting events. ;)
And I'm still surprised she didn't make me get a NL tattoo.
@@meMiner 😂 Does she make you cheer for the dutch team?
Hey Greig I do rockhounding videos in Arizona. I found a black nugget I originally thought was a meteor. It was unfortunately non magnetic. When I I took it home I cut a small peice off and it looked like the silver you were cutting in your other video. Could I send you a couple of pics and let me know? Thanks
Arizona has silver. Also do a streak and hardness test. Probably more likely to be galena, but that is also cool to find
7:43 I likey and again at 9:35
My eyes are always bigger than my belly.....SO whens dessert !!!
A work in progress. When it is done, I have an apatite rockhounding video to edit and post. I know what I am doing on the holidays. ;-)
@@meMiner LOL.It's allowed ! God's work! You bring joy to the multitudes!
Could you pls tell the name and location?
