Heartbreakingly, it did. This is Dajerria Becton. In 2015, she was slammed to the ground by an angry cop named Eric Casebolt.
But there had been warning signs against Casebolt, yet no one did anything to prevent him from attacking these innocent teens.
The incident escalated to the point where people thought they were going to get killed… for a pool party.
Why was Dajerria attacked so viciously? Is she okay now? And how does this event sit in the context of police brutality and racial injustice in the United States?

i agree. while i don’t like seeing a young girl being slammed around, regardless of her race, those kids were being bad af and definitely not complying. their parents failed them. you’re supposed to comply with police regardless of what you think or how you feel. these officers want to make it home at the end of the day, if they choose not to take any chances that’s their choice, teens kill ppl too. this ain’t racist at all, them kids were being bad af and they know it.

Unfortunately I feel Arizona is so awful with the Police abusing people and definitely violating our rights. I can’t count how many times they have violated my rights and because of the things they have done to me, I most definitely have ptsd and will have it probably the rest of my life. It doesn’t look like anything is going to change with these officers here and I have kept myself indoors for a few years now because of being scared of them. Every time I see one when I absolutely have to go out I am terrified, and wondering if they are going to insert themselves in my quick outing I have to take to go down the street to the store for just a few minutes. I wish there was something done when they harassed me and violated my rights. I record everything now but even that doesn’t help it seems. The supervisors or sergeants always come back and say their officer followed procedures and didn’t do anything wrong. I just wish I knew how to do something about it. They don’t give you many options when filing a complaint unless by some miracle you go VIRAL. It’s a real shame.
Those kids absolutely shouldn’t be there by endangering the people who pay dues to use that pool. They are strangers and could do anything that could endanger memebers, you just don’t know. They said only 2 people on a pass. Once at my paid neighborhood pool over 200 teenagers showed up and were yelling racial slurs at the white people who lived there. I couldn’t believe this was happening plus there was a kid who was collecting $10 from everyone who wanted to get in.
What the cop did here was terrifying and WRONG. Those kids should have been explained the rules so they could of just left peacefully instead of getting assaulted and fearing for their lives over a misunderstanding.

yea those kids were being bad af. the officer was out of control. but still, those kids were not complying and being wild and unruly. an officer reserves the right to handle the situation how they see fit. you don’t want the law fucking around with you then don’t act like an idiot. don’t be around big groups of ppl acting idiotic. guilty by association, whether it’s right or wrong, it’s reality. move smart and move accordingly

Ok I know what he did was wrong really just makes me sick to do anyone like that. And also a lot of those kids should have just left and the situation would have really not been as bad as it was I seen the pool video a long time ago.
Absolutely outrageous what the hell is going on with the police I have a video of my friend in uk we’re I live being taser for so long if it wasn’t for them not allowing him not to go in to there armed response car they waited for a bubble car my friends heart stopped now they have changed the taser regs but they say he has no case
