Rob, while watching this current video, I was just wondering about Austin and you addressed it in the 1st comment. Thank you. He was your wing man for so many years it seems and I wish him the best. But I gotta say, your new wing man is not bad. He can fix and do everything from vehicles to being a camera man. Watching him learning you is making the videos fun because you are teaching him and teaching us at the same time... I love it.

Rob in the middle of May my father was walking talking drinking beer and eating seafood with us. June 15th diagnosed with some rare form of lung cancer. July 6th he took his last breath in his home with our family and grandsons around him. He was a amazing man and a amazing sportsman. He hunted hard and fished harder. Taught us everything we know. He spent his last few days watching Deer Meat For Dinner in a bed hospice brought in. We always wanted to go to Florida on a hog hunt but unfortunately we never saw this coming. Thought he had a good many years left. If you could it would be epic if you could kill a hog a big hog for him in his name. Myself my boys and my father would absolutely love it. We all have been huge fans for years now. Thanks
Dan, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing, I to have had family members be diagnosed and a month later they're gone, it leaves you devastated. It’s crazy I remember his old videos cleaning hogs on the bed of that old Chevy with cliff! And I remember when he was cleaning a buck in front of the cabin with Sarah and Aria was just a very young baby! Crazy how long I’ve been watching. I’ve literally grown up watching this guy and his family! This bring back memories.

For some reason this video reminds me of how I first found your channel. I was looking for a way to cook a deer shoulder. At that time you were using a vertical barrel and fired it up with charcoal and a leaf blower! While it was cooking you went out and bought two muzzleloader and sited them in!! I believe you had 1m subscribers at that time. Your videos are inspiring me to find hunting and fishing areas here in our new home in Texas. We moved here last summer from Connecticut...love your channel and never miss a video...that's all for now and now I'm gone.....

I'm from Lagrange TX and now living in Waco with my wife and kiddos. Love the channel, its just full of all the stuff I am passionate about and definitely helps that Rob and his family are just amazing people. Starting to set up feeders on a new lease this year and hope it will be a great place to share with my family my love of the outdoors for years to come. Love it! Keep it up bro

@TexanWayBoy So......how are hogs being held / contained at a hunting ranch ???? Fencing as I know it. And hogs jump fences or root under fencing. So the fencing must be tall.....and to keep hogs from rooting under it they would need to be rung with hog rings in the nose. If not they are reintroduced back into the farming / community. Thus destroying land. So your point is ?

I grew up in the city with zero experience hunting, fishing, or anything of the sort, but watching your videos sparked my interest. These past three years I've been working my way into it slowly getting into it. I'm hoping to get an opportunity to be able to hunt deer and hogs.

I have a 2000 F250 7.3 turbo diesel crew cab flat deck hunt truck with similar miles. Been through 3 trannys and a lot of meat on the back. She's my daily driver. We call her the Hepatitis Express. 🦍
This is why I want to get an older diesel truck. They are like the energizer bunny. Also if you remember from your CNMI trip alot of people use diesel generators on the islands and power them with plastic waste. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube and other places that can teach you how to make your own diesel from waste plastic (makes you think about using plastic bottles if it can be turned into diesel fuel so easily). Basically you just shred the plastic and keep it in a bin until you need fuel then you add it to a still (about 1 pound of shredded plastic per gallon of diesel) and then distill it. There you go an unlimited and free fuel source in a modern vehicle. I don't know if it will work in a newer diesel because of all the new laws but if you can find a pre new diesel law truck (I think its 2012 or older) then you should be ok. Redo the interior and get you a new bed and you have a new truck. Those things just go and go.

I've made mine similar but I let it sit in bitter orange for days then freeze it. Then I put it in the slow cooker with mojo and it comes out like pulled pork and it's great.

I got the super HeeBeeJeeBees when you got in the diesel truck lol. All i was thinking was "For the love of God don't let a Rat or Snake drop from that ceiling. haha. Man what a great shot on the hog Robert, well done. Question: You know how you said you were on the border of both properties and hunting season was coming in, how do you and neighboring hunters prevent crossfire accidents when out there? Do you give a courtesy call to the property owners saying "Hey i'll be on the southside of the property line"?. When you broke out the Mojo i was like Oh yeah that stuff is great on pork especially if you let it sit over night in the fridge marinating. I was thinking taco's but quesadillas are just as yummy. Love the girls they are adorable as ever. Can't wait to see what little changes you make to the Diesel truck which i will call it "The Relic" lol. My dad was a kid during the Great Depression.. He quipped that behind every set of rabbit tracks you could find 5 sets of human tracks.. Current US debt is almost $34T.. Eventually an economic catastrophe will settle in.. When it does, the feral hog problem will be solved..
Just because it says .22 don't under estimate it!! And if you really want to mess stuff up take a look at a .22 250!! Bad momo!! Pretty much a .308 shell with a .22 mag bullet.. my grandfather was kicked out of local comps because at 300yards he could put 3 out of 5 in the same hole!! They are insane guns!!!
