90% of soccer training videos on RUclips are garbage, completely useless at best and harmful mostly, but this is solid instruction.

Did he set them up in certain positions to begin? Left fullback, center back etc...?

Wasn’t really shown. But most players will gravitate to their preferred position/ area on the field. It looked as if the kids just played wherever they wanted to play. Overall, the objective was nearest man press the ball. This kind of wasn’t worrying about field position or anything else but just trying to get the players comfortable with pressing.

Maybe the biggest mistake Man Utd made was to appoint Moyes as a manager, he should have been a part of the coaching staff instead. Great coaching here.

I think Moyes makes a great point about attitude and energy required on the field. However I’m not sure that it should be coming from you as a manager by standing in the middle of the game. You can’t do that in a game, players should drive the drill not the manager.

Hes coaching, theyre not playing a game.
Coaching is 90% about good communication.
Standing in the middle is the best place to communicate from.

It’s called player engagement. Also he stands Where he can see what he wants to see or like he said so he can be heard by them all.
