No matter what I do, reinstalling Gimp, reinstalling gmic, it does not show up in Gimp. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Frustrating w/out any helpful documentation on the website either. arrgh! thanks

Tried setting the gmic path in 'Edit > Preferences > Folders > plugins' ?

@@theunusualdezigner Do you mean in Gimp? Preferences? Because Gmic doesn't appear anywhere. EDIT: I opened Preferences in Gimp. I found the Plugin folder. I opened it to see no Gmic there. I reset the plugin folders & the path (C:\Users\YoMama\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins) where the Gmic was added appeared. It's the only thing in the folder. On the other hand, the other plugin path (C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins) is chock full of all sorts of stuff. I'll try to save it there. Thank you for your help.

It gives an error any time I attempt to add to the plugin folder under program files. I changed permissions in the file mgr for admin control. Unsure what that outcome will give. wish me luck.

@@SoulStitch1111 Yes, in gimp preferences.. While installing gimp, you will be able to see the path where gmic is being installed.. Set that path in gimp's plugins folder

@@theunusualdezigner That wouldn't work. Each time I tried it would give an error. So I just cut the gmic from it's folder & moved it to the other. It now appears in the Filters drop down. Thank you for the help. Much appreciated.
