I have 2.10.30 version of GIMP and I tried installing the GMIC version 3.1.1 but I don't see the plugin in GIMP. Can you please help me with this? I have uninstalled the plugin several times. The plugin is actually in the gimp folder. When gimp is loading I can also see the plugin queuing as well. I tried adding the the plugin path via preference but it's not allowing me to add any folder

Hi mike. Trying to colourise a photo. The original is 60 years old, not photo paper, it’s more like a fabric. I don’t know how to get rid of the lines. Any ideas. Many thanks
does this plugin work with gimp 2.0? and what if you click the zip archive? Can you install the unzipped folder in the plugins folder for gimp and just make it work that way?

I have Gimp 2.8. I was watching your video about how to convert a picture to a cartoon and you mentioned G' Mic. Followed the instructions on this video. Did the full install as shown. Opened Gimp. Looked under filter. No G' Mic option. Is there a way I have to import it into Gimp?

The version of G'MIC 3.0.0 today I also installed it and now with the version of GIMP 2.10.28 it works fine. 👍 A big hello. 😉👍

On Windows I had to install it in my Plugins folder. To find the paths go to:
Edit->Preferences->Folders->Plug-Ins
Didn't test this on Linux yet.

After i updated my gimp to version 2.10.32 the gmic did not open any more. I tried to reinstall gmic but without any result. How can i correct this?
