I found this on a Betcha Can't Play This compilation well over 10 years ago, I was in that stage of learning guitar where I wanted to see/hear the most hardcore and difficult shredding, but this one stood out despite not being as difficult as the others. Now I'm 30 and I remember this one above the others for its beautiful melody and composition, time really flies.
Definitely one of the better betcha can't play this videos. It doesn't sound like hes playing random notes as fast as possible, he actually put effort into making this sound amazingly melodic. I really like this one
Not the most difficult I have seen, but definitely one of the most melodic and beautiful licks out there when it comes to 'betcha cant play this' videos
Finally after half' hour ear tabbing i can play this! it sounds awesome with a touch of distortion, little delay and a bit of reverb. You all need to learn this piece, it amazes friends lol. You can also try sweeping the maj7 arpeggios, or w/e they are. sounds great.
well with some practice I think I can nail this, but I don't think I can compose something so beautiful and melodic. Definitely one of my favourite betcha can't play this
whats funny is that out of the series of betcha cant play this, this is the only one ill attempt coz i can, but its also one of the best licks in the series. sounds euphoric

Definitely one of the better betcha can't play this videos. It doesn't sound like hes playing random notes as fast as possible, he actually put effort into making this sound amazingly melodic. I really like this one

I don't get why you'd dislike this, how would you even find it if you can't appreciate how much feel this has to it?
good interval choices with the stacked 5ths to get the extensions
beautyful tone!!!
Finally after half' hour ear tabbing i can play this! it sounds awesome with a touch of distortion, little delay and a bit of reverb.
You all need to learn this piece, it amazes friends lol.

This lick sound awesome!
reminds me of Cliffs of Dover
Right? Is there a technique where you keep playing a root note before and after every other note?
+Andrew Schiavo Yeah that's called 'pedal point' (also pedal point if you hold down a drone note under changing chords)
+Andrew Schiavo Eric plays the pedal point lick in Cliffs of Dover with hybrid picking, incase that's what you were asking :)
Love that tone.
