  • In this video i demonstrate how to calculate the Standard error and Standard deviation of the IC50 in Graphpad Prism versions 6 and below.
The equation required to calculate the standard error comes pre-packaged with Versions 7 and above, but not in the earlier versions (6 and earlier). In order to get around this, I create a custom equation in version 6, which allows me to calculate the Standard error of the IC50.
    Custom Equation : Y=Bottom + (Top-Bottom)/(1 + ((X^HillSlope)/(IC50^HillSlope)))

Hello Sir, Thankyou for the video.I am using graphpad prism 8 and want to calculate the SD of the IC50 value.I am following each and every step of your video but unable to get the SE of IC50 value.I am not getting the slot of SE in the after opting for the inhibitor vs response variable slope option.Ehat should I do? Please help me.
