    But what if we have frequencies? There are cases where we have table with the x and then the number of times x occurs. But I can't find any tutorials on how to do that.

      Never mind, I was able to work out from your error bar video - for anyone else, just run the same procedure he uses with stds for standard errors!

    Hy sir, I hope you will be good. Actually, I have an understanding of SD and ANOVA. However, I am dealing with a bit larger experimental data. At this instant, I am unable to ponder how I will apply SD and ANOVA on my entire data set. Whether I have to do both tests first between the groups (number of days) separately or I have to apply to the entire data set at once? Since most of the videos on youtube redundantly explained these methods. But, none of them focused to give an example dealing with a real-time data analysis in research. If you say, I can send you my data, So, you can show it on the video here.

    Hello! How about calculating the STDEV by each indicators? How to calculate that? Still the same? Like for instance, calculating all the STDEV on one indicator comprising of 6 questions. Should I calculate all of the STDEV of 6 questions then proceed to calculating all 6 STDEV to get the whole STDEV on one indicator? Is that how it works?

    Thanks, very helpful. But I want to know, What difference Standard error and standard error mean?

    • @StevenBradburn
      @StevenBradburn  3 года назад

      It depends on the context. If the statistic of interest is the mean, then it is more precise to say standard error of the mean. Some people just shorten this to standard error. Note, you can get he standard error of other statistics, such as the median.
