I love this episode because this brand thing is so mind-boggling to me. I don't understand how we have allowed ourselves and our culture to be captivated by the activity of continuous states of poverty by continuing to invest in the very people, and brands that have stripped us of our prosperity in the first place. I am not saying, don't shop in our components arena, but provide for our brilliant and talented designers. As far as gifts and talents being plagiarized, I think that is something that almost cannot be avoided because there are only so many ways to cut a shoe or a design. I design from many years ago. The designs I came up with then, I see them recreated over and over. The thing that we have to understand is that with our gifts, we will always be able to create more because our gifts are unlimited so I don't worry about that. I know that divine downloads are always coming to me. We should not fear putting out new things to the world. For me ideas are always flowing. We can't help but create.
