Excellent video! I bought a set of angle fold binding and it came with a foot like this, which I had no clue how to use. So thank you! I'm so glad we have RUclips and skilled teachers like you. It has taught me sew (hahaha) much!
I can't tell you how happy this tutorial makes me feel. If I were to adjust the stitching a little into the binding, it would be good enough. Thank you.
I love this concept and I'm definitely going to use this later on today,. I'm thinking though I might try and miter the corners different than your way. I don't see a crisp nice miter. Thank you for this tutorial though.. Easy to learn.
Do you think you can use this to attach jersey binding to a neckline like on a shirt? Say with a twin needle for it to stretch. For those of us who don’t have an expensive coverstitch machine lol
I came here for help with the mitered corner. I just don’t think it looks polished enough in the video 😢 - does anyone have any tips? The bottom bias seems to have slipped around a bit, too.
ruclips.net/video/SqpE3mLqyVM/видео.html The best video I've seen so far to show you how to bind. Also the Missouri star quilt company has a self binding baby blanket you may like. I do like Madam Sews tutorials to show what the feet are capable of, but as a quilter I look for my videos in other places. She sews not quilt.
@@jackienicholson2990 hate it when videoed says practice is all it takes. I would think she has had a lot of practice, but I wasn't impressed with quality of any of her stitching using this foot. Even the area of straight stitching appeared to be crooked. Perhaps this foot not really that useful after all.
I don't mind the straight stitching but before I saw this my thoughts were on the mitering as well. I like a nice finished mitered corner and I do think this give you that. Too bad because I would use this for finishing off my quilts.
love this but very distracting graph background dont need to see the green lined backdrop and scissors the clear part is just confused by all this distraction. A close up would have really helped but thank you as always I appreciate you, just sayin' for your next video to consider what the unknowing viewer is seeing. Confusing. Plus your logo splattered across the screen takes more concentration away from what you are doing.

Thank you for showing this whole process. Most tutorials on this foot don't mention the corners!
Thank you, it was just what I needed as I wasn't sure how to turn at the corner with a mitre.
Just started using my own binding and this is a great video for learning thankyou.

I love all the feet I have and watch the videos to remind me how to use them

Thank you so much Kathleen!
I need to see this done on a quilt. Three layers is so much thicker.

Thank you for a great video! I am trying to use a bamboo fabric to make a binding and I am having a heck of a time! Any recommendations?
Could you use this with fold over elastic ?
Clear demo. Nice👏🏽job.😊

Unfortunately, most of her videos are not very "polished". Very disappointing.
I’m a little surprised at the quality of sewing myself.

What fabric are you using? What are they called? Any specific type? They are beautiful and stiff.

No stitches front or back of binding in places - just me?
