Thank you Mr. Ross it looks more industrial than a more manicured country club like. Please continue to provide these drive-by neighborhood exploration. They are much needed.
I lived in the south of Merida when I first arrived I had a very nice studio with air, kitchen fully funrnished security, and walled compaound. That areas is mostly generation of families with many years of living there, big homes . Its older area but nice and only a short uber ride to central.
More impressed with the Philippines if I have to put up with that kind of heat ! -- Especially because they speak English and 'that' makes your life much easier. --?-- Your money goes further too as one US expat reports living 70% less than the US !!! He has a 3 br house in a gated community (for security) with a pool and gym for $225 / month ! (Cebu area) Mexico's prices are going up in many places & their immigration isn't as friendly as the Philippines. There you can even get a 3 year tourist visa before you have to leave the country for 1 day & then you can start 3 years all over if you want to ?!? > Much easier than Mexico & their "guessing game" they play when your wanting a tourist visa. --?--
Merida is an incredible city! I enjoyed my rime there very much. Extremely safe & the people were incredibly polite. I look forward to returning for a much longer stay.
I would do that but in Mazatlan in a non turístiic area yet walking distance to the Malecón beach 🏖️ and Plaza Machado . Trying to rent $200 nice place by Oct.
You had me cracking up when you said in the States houses are made out of sticks& wood then the wind comes and blows them down LOL.That was funny as heck.
@@nakho3550 He was talking about serious weather events such as hurricanes, which is not false at all. Just look at the damage hurricanes do almost yearly now in Florida. That doesn't happen in Merida or the coastal cities of Yucatan.
I'm glad to see there are reasonably prices rentals. I'm looking for a job to pay the bills when I move to Mexico. Can you share with us how you started your relocation business? Did you sell real estate in the USA?
I hope you put as A VIP. ILL Contribute again onceI see it's worth it. I'm not moving there but I do love to see how it is. I own my home not retired yet but I prepared as planned in the USA. So ya not wanting to move. Good retirement here in the USA. You can work here and plan obviously here the the good ol USA. BUT YES YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR 25 YEARS AND Plan. But if you like to not work everyday your not going to do well here. I've worked Nd bought property and planned it.
@@lovemydog440 WHo said i wasn't saving money? That was my purpose for moving here, to cut expenses so i could save more and invest. I'm living extremely well, without the stress, hustle and bustle, and keeping more of my money... A much better quality life here versus when I was there (U.S.). The savings are a big plus, but the quality of life is much better. Hard to understand without being here to experience what I'm saying. But the whole point in moving here was to save. You're probably catching the newer videos and didn't see the earlier videos where I go into detail explaining why i moved. I've been transparent in saying that I did not do a good job planning for retirement; as I near 50 years old, I realize I got about 15-years to get things right before I turn 65. My goal -- figure out how to drastically cut my expenses without sacrificing my quality of life. That process led me to exploring other countries where my money stretches much farther (and i decided Mexico would be my spot when Colombia didn't work out). That's why I'm here. So yes, I'm saving a boatload compared to what I was doing in the States, and I'm much happier and relaxed where I'm at (something I didn't factor into the equation -- just a huge benefit). That was the goal (in a nutshell). I have no qualms with the U.S., I love it. However, after being here for 2 1/2 years, I'll likely be making this home.

Awesome videos. Great information.
Great Video Brother 💯👏🏿
I would just make it homely. I would rather be in an area that has everything as I got to learn the area. Save some money and relax.
Agreed

You are welcome
If you buy your own A/C unit, can you take it with you when your lease is up? How much does it cost to move belongings in Mexico? Thank you.
Can't wait to get back.
Thank you for all the info you provide. It would be great to get information about auto insurance.
You can get insurance for like $450 a yr
More like $150-$200/yearly ... We had someone on a live discuss last week. I'll see if I can get an agent to discuss in detail
That $100 house is what is known as a "social interest house" they are very poor quality built and they probably feel like an oven inside.
I'll have to look up that term ... First time I heard it. Thakns for sharing

Cartess you living but are you saving money? If not why do it? I have to ask I mean ya you can live there but if your not saving what's the point?
It sounds like you planned very well... Congrats

Troll! The US is not for everyone. Racism affects some of us mental health irrespective of how much you "saved" for retirement.

I don’t trust that neighborhood
Before you even say anything why don’t you come here and find out yourself? I’m sure it is safer then your city
What dont you trust?
