Seems like a great collection of films to watch. I would also like to recommend "Master" (2016), "No Escape" (1994), "Soldier" (1998), "Buck and the Preacher" (1972), "Vicious Fun" "(2020), "Black Friday" (2021), "The Hunted" (2003), "So Close" (2002), "The Last King" (2016), and "Spaced Invaders" (1990).
Love to get som tips for movies to watch, so thank you for that. But don’t spoil so much next time! Especially on horror films like it follows. To tell what the objective of the “monster” is soooooooo unnecessary and spoils the experience. Otherwise good tips and nice video
Thanks for the feedback. I’m usually very careful about spoilers. In this case, everything I revealed was in the first half of the movie and sort of considered the central idea rather than a spoiler but I still take your point and will keep that in mind going forward 👍
Moon - as someone's who's read a lot of sci-fi, Moon didn't really have any surprises for my. The director's follow up, Source Code has a very dumb premise but is well worth a watch because of Jake Gyllenhaal. Mute was a challenging film. Grave of the Fireflies - I've not seen it but probably will one day. Another Year - not seen but Mike Leigh's Secrets and Lies is devastating. I might watch this sometime. Belfast - doesn't interest me. Anatomy of a Fall - Sandra Hüller's acting is beyond top tier. Beautifully filmed. The story left me a bit underwhelmed. It Follows - didn't leave much of an impression on me, just seemed run of the mill. Ex Machina - wasn't the film I was expecting it to be, I didn't enjoy it, seen it twice to be sure. Brooklyn - doesn't interest me. K-Pax - I remember enjoying this one, though these days I wouldn't want to watch anything with Kevin Spacey in it. Insomnia - Good film. Some suggestions: Safety Not Guaranteed The One I Love The Fall Phantom Thread The Man in the Hat
I would add 'The Man from Earth.'
